Alright. I'm almost finished with this project. Finally added pictures, enjoy my new map!

Assault Rifle

Beginning 100% done
Characters 91% done
Monsters or zombies 87% done

Doors and Rooms
There will be a bunch of doors and rooms to open and enter
The room the cutscene for the beginning starts off in the Torch Room
which shows torch art (lawl) which is just showing 257 year old torches
Then you exit after the cutscene and then you take over your guy and
find some places to get weapons or just die

What I will be doing first
First I'll start on the rooms and doors and room names so i dont have i
can get an idea on what i should do in each room. The museum is like a
puzzle only in a haunted way :bleh: .

Suggestions
Give me some suggestions on rooms and room names also what should
happen in each room. My attachment is here of map so you can see what
i've done but ive only done first room with beginning done. Also I will be
taking beta testers but I dont know when

I'll think of the elephant gun. Also READ, i said ill be getting screenshots soon
because my other computer got a virus and was sent to a computer place. This one
is slow. About it being scary is because all the other horror maps are dumb except
house of the haunted. He actually tried and succeeded, I'm trying and might succeed.
There i added a picture, its on the attachments. Its small because i have crappy screenshot editor
I took the time to add a Modern Warfare room to make it more realistic
Getting a gun at a museum is wierd, But in the room it says the guns work

Story
Finally, the field trip came. Just to get away from school but the museum might
bore us to death but not as much as school. Maybe we could sneek around while
the teacher isn't looking and hide. But this one field trip was stupid, we have to stay
there till 8:00 PM. Thats dumb

The teacher always looked at us so we didn't have a chance at running away. Many
exhibits passed by and we all headed to the torch room (lawl makes me laugh to make a gay
room)which is a room full of old torches. After a long lecture, the lights go out.
Agitating the teacher. But this was the perfect time to hide, we check the door but
it was locked. How strange, so we slipped back to where we were standing. The lights
turned on, what was queer was there was a student missing. But the door was locked,
how could he hide or get out of the room. The room was full of torches, no where to hide
also the door was locked so no one could've gotten out. The teacher continued the lecture.

We saw out the window of the door and saw a man running then a big creature running after
him. We argued to the teacher about it, then finally we went out and saw nothing. It was getting
late so we had to be sent home. Usually the museum is opened till 10:00 PM, it was a pretty
popular museum but no one was anywhere to be seen. The lights were either dimmed or blinking,
so it was pretty dark to see clearly.

Sometimes we could see shadows passing by us as we walked all the way to the entrance which
was pretty far. A lot of doors were locked so we couldn't get to the entrance easy enough.
It was a creepy museum. Hearing voices, seeing shadows, things popping in front of you. We had
to get out!

First of all, the rules for posting in this section say you have to post screenshots of your work in progress.

Second, don't you think it's a little odd that there's an assault rifle in a museum?
Perhaps you could place an elephant gun on display, I've seen many of those in a museum.
Some antique pistols too, maybe?
Unless there's a section dedicated to modern warfare.

Hello

3 Things:

1) Screenshot please

2) There are many "horror" maps in SCBW, and SCBW's graphic is TOO bad to make any horror fellings

3) Story?! If you jsut make a horror map without a story it will fail anyway

Speak for yourself, I found that (U)Bolt_Heads, House of the Haunted was a great map to play with people and if you give it a chance can spook you a litte. I'm sure if somone really tryed they could get your adreneline rushing with a new take on horror maps.

I've never been a real fan of the horror series. Most of them suffer from the "touch this and you die" syndrome, which doesn't make for either a fun or scary game. The only thing they ever serve to do is to annoy you by forcing you to either stop playing or play again (except the next time, you'll know that there's something in your path that can kill you instantly).

I'm hoping these "puzzles" are actual puzzles and not just locations that kill you if you take a wrong step.

This, in every word. And if you do puzzles, make sure that they're grammatically and math correct. I've seen a lot of horror games with a rather large case of incompetance.

lawl, im not that stupid at puzzles. making locations that kill you is stupid. Yes there will be bosses. thats y i put up the suggestion thing. give me some ideas on bosses, like skills and wat the boss should be. dont be making fun of my story xD. im thinking of wat puzzles i should do

In your case, BlackWolf99, I'm not so fearful of bad grammar as I am your use of punctuation (or lack thereof).

Back to the map itself though: Can you give a little preview of some of your puzzles so I'm not as skeptic about it?

EDIT: I didn't feel like playing the map just to try out the puzzles, so I'd rather know what I'm up against for I even bother.

It's not like I'm asking for the solutions. I just want to know what type of puzzles there are. Lock picking where you have to use a dropship item system to jiggle and tumble your way to the combination? Playing connect 4 with a super computer? Discovering nuclear fusion with a pencil and a jar of mayonnaise? I want some sort of preview.
