Final Fantasy 14 Site Beta sign up for FF14 I don't know how many people here actually played ff11, but basically this is the same characters ( They changed all the races names, just they look the same ) and the story changed, and its a new land and everything! but it still has all the great things 11 had! If you guys didn't play ff11 ( It was prob the best mmo i have ever played! ) It was actually hard.... unlike wow ><! this new one has the best mmo graphics i have seen thus far ><!

This would allow billing to be on a daily instead of monthly cycle and help avoid users paying for unused time. It will also lessen the inconvenience of the regularly scheduled billing maintenance. Importantly it will allow people to register and delete characters at any time, something currently unavailable in Final Fantasy 11.)
I thought this was cool... so now we don't have to pay for what we don't play for!

P.S: As of now its going to be for PC/PS3 11 was for PC/PS2/360 ( 360 came later ) ( square enix pretty much said they plan on doing the same thing, so 360 will come about 6-12 months down the road ) all platforms play together... its really fun actually!!

I did play one, City of Heroes, for three months, and I was completely addicted to it. I saw it as a warning never to play another MMO again.
However, I was thinking about buying Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360. It has been four numbered titles and ten years since the last Final Fantasy I bought. It is time to see what has changed.

FF XIII looks amazing I will admit that... but its not going to compare to FFXIV at all! You shouldn't be scared of this game... FF11 was my very first MMO and still to this day I think its the best one i have ever played... ( It really is a challenging game ) and they made it so you have to party in this game... after lvl 10 its 4+( I think max is 24 ) parties for the rest of the game its really fun!! So you are always playing with people! and each character... can be every class you just go to your home town and switch your class and start all over! but you don't have to start a character over! So the same character can have a white mage/black mage ( etc to every other class.. which I am pretty sure there are going to be like 20+ classes )
you must of sucked.. our joined after it started dying... ( It for sure does suck now... the community is not big enough anymore ) its 7 years old.

For one thing Paladin's were not DPS they were tanks and like I said after lvl 10... all the monsters become really hard and you have to level up with people. ( which i think they did state that this one will be much easier... which actually bums me out because thats why i liked it so much. ) It would take months to get one lvl 75 ( 6-12 ) and there was like 25 classes in 11 so if you were a normal player that would be prop about 25 years before you got everything. Did you actually play it? or are you just taking that from people... or did you not lvl up high enough because every mmo sucks for the first 10 hours or so..
or that.. actually a NM ( Boss) in the game. NM Spawn randomly in certain area's kina like Elites in wow... but much more rare... ( Some would go a week for another spawn, but their drops are usually worth alot. )

Alright, I will admit that that does sound pretty bad ass, but the game is going to suck when the community dies. Twenty-four sounds like a pretty big party to me. Even City of Heroes did not hold parties that large.
Oh, and although scared of MMO games, I have always wanted to try each of the following when they were at their peak in popularity:
Anarchy Online
Asheron's Call 2
Dark Age of Camelot
Star Wars Galaxies
Horizons: Empire of Istaria
Second Life
There
The Sims Online
This is only due to the fact that I used to watch the television show Portal. Final Fantasy XI was a featured MMO game on the show, but they only started showing it towards the end of the series. Snuggy Dove was the only major character on FFXI, and all she did was sing and dance which only brought joy to her brother, Sunny, in Dark Age of Camelot. To everyone one else, she use to make them go crazy.
I'd like to see a 3D Pokemon MMO seriously, it's not like we don't have the technology for it. We have the models, we have how pokemon works. /sidecomment

If you ever played on Garuda way back about 5 years ago, I was a Hume 75 ranger/37ninja named Dazn who camped the HELL out of the Valkurm Emporer. I would often get from 3-6 Hairpins a day that sold for ~400,000 gil a peice.
