EDIT:
WAIT, AS I GOOGLE IT. HELP.

I wasn't so smart when I forgot to backup something I wanted to "try" deleting.

So I deleted it. And recycled it.
And now, I realized what a stupid fucking idea it was. I had deleted all of the shortcuts/files in the All Programs list, the once you access when you open the Start menu.

I need to recover it, now. I only just deleted it now and I haven't done anything else. Can I recover it? If so, how?

Shift delete, or just delete?

None.

Really delete it. -_-

You know what, I can be optimistic. All the files (should be) are shortcuts. Not only that, but the folders for the software shortcuts are still there.
At the moment, the shortcuts haven't resolved. Either I need to restart my laptop, or they're permanently broken (I presume the latter). Again, the folders for the software shortcuts are still there, so I might just delete everything in the folders, just so I can keep track of all of my old software.

Really, the only reason I panicked was because: A) This is the family's laptop. Shucks, THEY might still need it - B) The uninstaller shortcuts are useful. Now, I'll have to go to the Control Panel and manually search and find it, and blah blah. Eh, just lazy.

Anyway, I don't think there's much for me to worry about. It's just a rather big inconvenience. And ugly thought. UGH! -_-

I here there is way to undelete something even if you removed it from your recycle bin, and it has to do with MS-DOS. My guess is that when you 'permanently' delete something, all you've actually done is mark the file as being ok to write over (as opposed to blanking it out also). So all you would have to do is remove that mark.

Also, this only works for windows OS's.

Or look up Free Undelete on Google and get one of those programs..?

Can't you just use system restore?

None.

Is this XP or Vista? If it is Vista and you don't have system restore disabled, you could get them through the previous versions functionality. If you aren't using Vista Business or higher, you will need a special utility to access it, though. ( http://www.shadowexplorer.com/ has one such tool)

If you are on XP, you could try using system restore to restore it from before you did that. (you could also do this on Vista, of course)

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
