For I like to include my maps' version in the in-game map description, it would be nice to see if Staredit Network would automatically upgrade the map description when replacing the file with a newer version or at least give the author an option to do so. That's because if the description never changes, people may think that the file itself is outdated even when it's not. What do you think of this idea?
None.
Let IP finish what he has got, before suggesting what he hasn't got.
Example: He said he was working on DLDB somewhere, he also mentioned the use of myspace like map pages. So let him finish and see what he's done?
None.
You can use the edit tab on the file entry and change descriptions manually.
Other than that, if you mean a place that automatically indicates the date the map was last updated, I'm all for that.
True, the date should also be updated.
But I'm not speaking of the editable map description but the currently non-editable in-game description field Staredit Network automatically generates when you first upload a map. If you overwrite the map file with a newer version, the in-game description field won't be replaced.
None.
