i have a place where i live called "Kings Music", it's my local music store and they sell a lot of washburn and oscar schmidt guitars, and the link up top is the guitar i want to buy.

I've played it and it sounds nice to me though.

plus im getting it for 113 as opposed to 200 like its originally for.

does it looks like a nice guitar to you guys?

We live in a society.

Can't say I've heard of the brand. EDIT: Okay, I've heard of Washburn. Not Oscar Schmidt. :P

What guitar(s) do you have now?

Also.... what's with the classical/folk guitar there? I don't see you fingerpicking in your videos. :P

I don't know what your price range is, but I would say it's probably worth it to step it up and go for an actual Washburn instead of Oscar Schmidt by Washburn.
DK20CET -- Acoustic/Electric, if you so choose. There is also the plain acoustic version
Washburn EA8B (a little cheaper, hey SALE :P)
Here's a decent Epiphone for roughly the same price you're paying the one you were going to get.
You can get some nice stuff if you look around, sometimes for 50% or more off the list prices.

I don't know what your price range is, but I think that you should step it up a notch and go for an actual Washburn.

Well i've played it and it doesn't sound to bad not being finger picked really, but my price range atm is like 130$

I like the guitar too cause it's smaller than mine and it makes it easier to play, i dont think im going to buy a washburn but they have a bunch there so i could change my mind when i actually go out and buy it

Still no takers, huh?

If you're going to buy an acoustic, I would recommend a Contessa while they still last. They make such sweet sounds.

Here's one on Ebay that's in good condition. It is actually the same one I have, Model HG 01.

So long as you're going nylon because YOU like the sound and not because Corbo yelled at you in your other topic, I'm fine with your decision. :P

Oh, definitely google reviews on whatever guitar you're planning to buy before you actually buy it.

This is my electric guitar. It is an Oscar Schmidt OE-30 with a Yamaha EG 112C2 neck swapped in.

The neck holes weren't drilled right, so it was actually a very lucky thing that I wanted to put that neck on it, but beside that, any problems I've had with it are primarily my fault.

It's a really cool guitar, though not the easiest thing to play. The acoustic Oscar Schmidts are just okay; they sound the same as most of the cheap laminate guitars in that range, IE the lowest range of Ibanez, Yamaha and Washburn - Kind of muted and lacking in richness or fullness.

You can do alot better if you just spend about twenty to forty bucks more, and there many parlor-style guitars out there.

Here are some I just searched up:

http://www.music123.com/Fender-TG-4-Travel-Guitar-510456-i1146373.Music123

And if you want a larger guitar, these brands and models are generally nice:
