I'm going to college tomorrow and I'm going to see if I need a laptop for college or not. I need a good overall computer that would be good for gaming/school work. I can have a budget to about $1100 if I get a job. But basically I need a cheap to decent priced laptop with good battery life and good for gaming/home with good durability. I heard Asus is good but I haven't found a cheap one. I also heard a good cheap gaming one is alienware, which I find pretty ironic. Anyone has any suggestions for one about $600 to about $1000? The cheaper the better.

Gaming laptops are not cheap. I would say you are going to need $1000+ for gaming laptop
