Quote from AntiSleepshadowflare, are you trying to be funny, or are you just ignorant? http://911research.wtc7.net/wtc/arch/core.html

Heh, just something I remembered or thought I remembered from something about them that I saw on TV a while back, which was made before they were gone, not after.

If it wasn't what I said, I still remember there being at least something unique about the way it was supported, though. It has been a while since I saw it, so I may not remember it all quite right. :P

Quote from devileskWhile I find them to be annoying at time (GOD I HATE ALIEN CONSPIRACY SHOWS ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL), I think totally eliminating them from the planet would disrupt the balance. You need to have people like this that question everything and come up with their own ideas. Maybe one day they will actually be on to something.

Or maybe we need them to remind the rest of us where the boundaries of sanity are.

Problem solver.

What is your definition of a "conspiracy theorist" Millenium?

Someone who has a different opinion then you about something that deals with politics, or the unexplained?

Just because they have a different opinion, doesn't make them "Conspiracy theorists"

I truely believe the government killed all those people in 9/11 for various reasons.

To get us into war. (Just like FDR did with Perl Harbor)
To eliminate all the big corporation debts that were stored in the World Trade Center(*CoughHALIBURTONCough* Oh, which reminds me. Who was/is CEO of Haliburton? DICK CHEYNEY. Which if I'm not mistakened, is against all rules and statutes that our Founding Fathers created onto the constitution)
To create laws that infringe on the rights of the american people, and to create a socialist "democracy"
To keep the rich families in power

But even if I were to provide links for my examples, you would more then likely still hate me (well, conspiracy theorists) because I'm "a close-minded fool"

Which would make me still laugh at you (well, people who 'hate' conspiracy theorists) for being the close-minded one :)

The most important question: Could the US government execute a very complex operation with such accuracy?

I am leaning toward no, it would not be plausible for the conspiracy to be rooted in our own government, they are too incompetent. This is not to say members of the conspiracy do not hold power in our government.

What? Do explain.

And Kelly, links > no links anyday. AT least then you have SOME sources, without them, it seems like you're pulling things out of your asses.

I saw a man with a sign standing at the side of the highway that said "911 = INSIDE JOB" during XC practice a few weeks ago. I matter of factly told him, "No it fucking wasn't, get a job." to which he responded, "I have a job."

I don't listen to people about this anymore unless they present me with degrees in chemistry and physics.

I only listen to them if they have degrees in Engineering. Those two subjects alone are insufficient

Reason I dislike conspiracists is because they try to claim how things like the twin towers fell didn't seem real according to their "science." Physics or Chemistry cant explain why things occurred the way they did, engineering does. Just about every conspiracist in that sense that I've seen lack engineering knowledge.

The other thing is that when a magazine such as popular mechanics researches the issue and comes out with it being the terrorists, not the government, then conspiricists brush it off as bullshit payed for by oil companies and the such.

And what PhD knowledge do you have to inquire towards this discussion?

More then likely none.

Which is why we 'conspiracy theorists' get our sources from people who do in fact have knowledge of the thing we are discussing.

But even if I were to go through and find reliable sources from Engineering, you'd probibly say I'm wrong.

I think skeptics are skeptics because they're too afraid to admit that their government isn't the candy-coated-sugar-love-ride that they make themselves out to be.
