Hello, I'm triggering a diplo map involving cities. There are 25 cities, and each city requires three triggers; a trigger for capturing the city, one for limiting the amount of bunkers in it and one for limiting the amount of cannons. I'm about a third of the way done through the 75 triggers, but I had an idea to reduce all 75 triggers to 4 triggers.

Instead of having a location for every city, what if I centered a location on a certain building which at the center of every city, and did the three triggers for this location instead of every seperate location? Would this work?

It would perfectly work. However you have to give that building to another player to ensure that the next time that you center the location you center it over the building of another city. It'd work this way:

- While one player has buildings of that type center the location over a building and give the building to another player.
- Check the city (let the other triggers run on that location).
- When the player has no more buildings of that type give all of them back to the original player.

OR

The ever so epic Zerg unit burrowed under a building! Similar to Clokr_'s. Your choice.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
