(This topic was also posted on Maplantis before the shutdown, I am merely posting it here so the ones who never saw it see it now)

Call Of Cthulhu was an absolutely terrible game with such an awesome story. The Puzzles were EXTREMELY simple, the graphics were awful (probably good for it's time, but it looks gross now), and worst of all, you don't get a gun until AFTER most of the Ramona Guilt Scenes were over, effectively ruining any potential horror scenes.
There were also a number of other nitpicky things, like how you can't shoot through some cracks in the wall (which are easily big enough to shoot through), enemies can see through some doors (extremely fucking annoying when you try to pass an area using stealth, and how shitty the AI was (on a stealth based mission you could simply jump from side to side to avoid getting hit by the guards you should be trying to hide from, as well as some other AI problems like the computer not doing something needed to get past the part. And now comes my personal favorite, all the fucking freezes! Some of the main areas freeze, and CoC also freezes if you try to alt+tab, windows button, or Ctrl+Alt+Delete out of the game.

The game did have it's upsides though, such as the previously mentioned story, and extremely original injury system, as well as it's gun's aiming systems.

Now, here we stop to delve into the "Sanity" idea, it was awesome in almost every way except for:
A) Sometimes a line would appear in the center of the screen, it looks almost like blocky terrain in SC, and usually bugged me.
B) It fucks with your vision afterwards, I am serious, my vision will get wavy for a few seconds now and then, and I am not happy about it.

Now, my rating:

Story: 9.5/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Visual Effects: 8/10 (as in sanity)
Graphics: 6/10
Audio: 8.8/10
Overall: 4/10

Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
