Instead of "will you partipate or not" the better question would be "would you finish a map or not", because that is the main issue with monthly contests. It doesn't matter if 100% of the community is willing to participate if none of them are going to finish a map. On the other hand, if there are only a handful of people willing to participate AND they actually finish a map, then the contest will be successful.

I made a map for the mapping contest which was only 4 days long and my last trigger ruined the map, so maybe I will be better in future... :D But I've other things to do, so maybe. If I like the topic, maybe. If I have no idea, I won't. ^^

Provided Laura finishes ST-1 (New RP console, its really starting to look promising.), i can definitely make an RP's terrain in a month if i really want to, so i could push one out monthly if i wanted to, though i doubt id do it every month. I do have a couple other projects that are near-done and could be entered if you make one for April. If your going to make it for April, i suggest you do it now, and allow the finishing of already started maps.
