Get out of here you stupid philosopher, all of your questions could easily be answered, but you just act too stupid to accept the explanation.

That's why I think people have the wrong attitude in general. It sucks, but it's something I think a lot of you need to come to terms with.
Why are such things the "right" and "wrong" attitude.

Just for the record, he said he THINKS it's the wrong attitude. Opinion here. Subjective. I don't think he wasn't claiming it was absolute truth.

Not saying you were claiming he was saying it was absolute truth.

But I'm just saying.

Wasn't MindArchon (or maybe some other previous (U)nknown member) making a program or plug-in for SCMDraft called something like MapSync where two (or more I believe) could work on a map simultaneously?

The only tool you ever need for team map making, really.

Though a multi-user terrain editor would be useful for specific instances for the same reason that, say, chat programs are still useful from time to time even though forums also exist. If that makes sense...

I would love to terrain with multiple people at once, it would be fun just to play around in!

Mar 28 2008, 11:57 pm The Starport Post #80

Yeah. I say a multi-user terrain editor would be useful because isometric terrain can't be easily cut and pasted between each person's copies of the map when merging together. You lose the isometric layout data, which makes it hard to edit it again in isometric mode. You end up getting stuck doing it all tile by tile in order to support proper cut and paste.

Not a problem if your map is pretty much ONLY tile terrain, though.

Anyway, short of that, most of the other stuff can probably be done via. SVN.
