Okay, I need some ideas for options in my newest map, Movie Contest Emerald, so basically, I plan on having all the old features of the map, but I need more ideas to be added, so, help me brainstorm.

Striked out features have been completed

Already have:
Mind Control Unit Selection
Options to spawn 1, 3, or 5 units at a time.
Special Building Selection
4 Camera Men(Allow to quickly move camera)
2 Move locations(units can move in between them, placed by Dark Swarm)
The option to set the hp of units (via triggers).(Thanks Oyen)
2 Different computers you can give units to, you can modify their alliance to you
The option to give units to players 12.(might not be possible, but I probably will)(Thanks Oyen for idea)
All special units you start with are cloaked, for use in-movie
Options for Invincible and Not Invincible camera and preplaced units
Bounding Mini-game for judge(More ideas would be nice on games)
Judge is not required, just has a few extra abilities
The option to remove units (via triggers).
The option to kill units (via triggers).
Options for constant screen-centering on camera
Pre-designed special effects that players can activate.
Ability to spawn either in a predetermined spot by using Dark Swarm, or under an arbiter.

I just need more ideas, anything else?

I am also accepting testers who would like to help test, if you want to, sign up here and I will PM you when testing.

Well, here's several ideas:
-The option to give units to players 9 - 12.
-The option to give units from the computer players to yourself.
-The option to set the hp of units (via triggers).
-The option to remove units (via triggers).
-The option to kill units (via triggers).
-The option for the judge to become a movie maker.
-Pre-designed sounds and special effects that players can activate.
-Minigame idea for Judge: Timed Zergling Roundup: The judge uses an invincible firebat with low damage to attack high hp zerglings and make them run onto a beacon. The player has 60 seconds to round up as many as possible. Based on Blizzard map called Zergling Roundup.

Quote-The option to give units to players 9 - 12.

Well, I don't think I'll totally need that, since making a computer allied to you is basically the same thing, I might manage to make it if I have one left over, we'll see.

Quote-The option to give units from the computer players to yourself.

Lol, I thought it was kinda obvious I would do it, but you're right, since they never did do it in the old one, trust me, that is a must-have and will be in there.
Quote-The option to set the hp of units (via triggers).

Okay, that will be added, I'm thinking 4-8 different choices of health

Quote-The option to remove units (via triggers).

That was already planned(not on list) and I will allow you to remove them via Dark Swarm, tell me if you think it's a bad idea :P

Quote-The option to kill units (via triggers).

I never thought about that, but I guess I must add it, and since it might be a good option in-movie, I'll make it kill units underneath the Queen, which will be cloaked, I can make it via Dark Swarm instead, if that sounds better.

Quote-The option for the judge to become a movie maker.

Well... I donno about that one, I MAY add it if I have extra space on the bottom, but it will only see a small section for the judge to make mini-movies, although I might also have it auto-give missing areas to judge, but that could cause some technical problems. The other implication is that I already have it so the judge is not required, so you don't need him, and I'm adding lots of games for his entertainment, basically, I'll see when I'm nearly done if I could add it in.

Quote-Pre-designed sounds and special effects that players can activate.

I don't know about this one, I will have special effects, but sounds I don't think will be an option other than as part of the special effects, I want to keep this map as small as possible, so it downloads quickly, unlike the original.

Quote-Minigame idea for Judge: Timed Zergling Roundup: The judge uses an invincible firebat with low damage to attack high hp zerglings and make them run onto a beacon. The player has 60 seconds to round up as many as possible. Based on Blizzard map called Zergling Roundup.

A mini-game like that takes up too much space, but it might be added if I have extra space in the end, but I never liked that game anyway.. Small mini-games, if you can.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll get to work right away.

A "Quick" Camera Change. Use a gateway casting system? E.g., Build a Zlot, it goes to camera one, build a Goon, it goes to camera two etc. etc.
Give the option to make computer units "Patrol"
Give the option to make computer units "Wander AI"
Take from Computer, Take From neutral
Lights ON/OFF (Stacking)
Disable Units (For cloaked bunkers, beacons, and the like)
If no Judge, players vote on, how long to prepare between scenes, how long a player gets for their "Scene." Sample times, Unlimited, 5, 10, 15 (15 seems like overkill..., at least for showing a scene.)
Spawning Buildings should not give the "ERROR Noise." It can be done.

Camera men, 4 of them, dropship selection system moves the camera in between them.

QuoteGive the option to make computer units "Patrol"

I'll attempt to add it, I'll have to have some way of marking the patrol point though.

QuoteGive the option to make computer units "Wander AI"

I don't know if I want to allow Junk Yard Dog, as the computer units could really get out of hand..

QuoteTake from Computer, Take From neutral

Yeah, that will be added

QuoteLights ON/OFF (Stacking)

Hmm... I think this might work, since I plan on giving them vision from a computer in other spots anyway..

QuoteIf no Judge, players vote on, how long to prepare between scenes, how long a player gets for their "Scene." Sample times, Unlimited, 5, 10, 15 (15 seems like overkill..., at least for showing a scene.)

Hm, I don't think I'll add this, I want to keep this game less limited, like how the old one had actors and such, but I may add movie timers as an option.

QuoteSpawning Buildings should not give the "ERROR Noise." It can be done.

Yeah, all units will be created in an area known to be open, and moved to the spawn, instead of immediately created, so there won't be any errors.

Cats suck. They've killed my rabbits, pooped in my sandbox, and scratched me on multiple occasions. Unless it is a house cat, cats completely suck.

Also, stop posting about friggin' cats and give me some good input, if you do that, Broodlings will be cats.

What about the option to slow a certain unit down. Like say in a corner for special effects you have Break units leg. Then use the burrowed unit method to slow down the unit.
Just a thought.

Add a road part for each player.

It's in Jungle tileset, unfortunately :( . Of course, alternatively, you can have an off-road car chase :) .

Yeah, sorry :) You can have them racing through a ruins city :P

Pigy_G, I love the idea, but as good as I am at map making, I have certain limitations, this is one of them, since the player could have multiple of any given unit, I can't make it perfect, since they could have dropship, or burrow, and the location on one, even if it was a pixel, could get transfered to another unit.

Still, I love effects ideas, if you can think of more like that, I would love to include them, I'm going to have a quite large selection of special effects.

You could have an 'Ice' zone special effect, where it creates about 50 burrowed zerglings in a grid, so it'll slow units down in that area? Not sure how you could show the effect of this Ice zone but ya, just a suggestion.
