This is the first map I ever finished (tried making a lotr a while back but got bored). Basically I made it as a way to avoid studying for my end of high school exams last year.

The map is very similar in style to other naruto maps. It is a 3v3 tag team arena match, character can be selected from one of 13 (+2 secret) characters. Each character has 9 moves, the first 2 are common to all characters, the others are unique (with some crossover), at last count there were 96 different moves in the map. Like in other naruto maps, moves are done by building units using gas for chakra. The most obvious difference compared with others is that after one team is defeated, the entire map resets and people are free to pick new characters.

Characters are: Naruto, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Itachi, Rock Lee, Neji, Gaara, Shikamaru, Shino, Sasori, Deidara, Kimimaro and Orochimaru (+ Haku and 4th hokage as secrets)

I don't have the stamina to go over all the moves, but a few of the better ones are

Genjutsu (Itachi): Enemies near you are teleported to an area briefly where they are attacked by copies of themself.
Toad Mouth bind (Jiraiya): Creates a barrier around the user (made of lurker eggs) to trap enemies, ends when a piece of the wall is killed.
Shadow Imitation (Shikamaru): Prevents Enemy from attacking and forces them to mirror all movements you make, can even force them to tag (done by mobile grid of course).
Insect Substitution (Shino): Substitutes the player for a halucination, since shino damages with carriers, the fake can still attack.
Sharingan (Itachi/Kakashi): Copies some but not all moves when enemy uses them. Copies are free.
Dance of the Seedling Fern (Kimimaro): Covers arena in lurkers.
Clay Centipede (Deidara): Creates a homing line of spider mines.

Hmm, I would make a crap salesman.

This is my favourite naruto map I like to play when I'm on Bnet. It inspired me to work on a naruto map also so big thanks go to you.

And since your here, how do you unlock haku and yondaime. PM if necessary. :shifty:

Ok, I played the map. It's a good overall improvement then the last version, like some new character and jutsu additions but do have some complaints though.

-With fh or 4 people the game lags. I check to see if it was the players but it wasn't. It stops lagging at 2 people and it plays more clearly with 1. Might be from some unit stack ups? I don't know but that really needs to be fixed

-The message "you lose" thing shows up halfway through the game when you haven't lost a match

-Shino needs slightly more stamina or his bugs attacks should be upped because shino loses a bit too easily.

For haku, take the selecter for your 100 spell (just under jutsus) to the bottom half (exploding tag) and lift your barracks. For 4th hokage, build 4 firebats and lift.

The lag problem has been bugging me for a while, still not sure what's causing it, it could be that i have simply too many triggers, but i'm hoping it's something specific. All i know is it appeared after i added shikamaru and the minigame, finding it is my main thing left to do before i make a final version. All i know is it must be in 'all players' since more players makes it worse.

As for shino, i probably should fix him a bit, preferably in a way that doesnt let him shred melee fighters.

Edit, the 4th hokage trick doesnt work. I did what it said but he doesn't appear.

For the lag problem, I've seen maps that have lots of triggers (a la Mechagears) and they run smootly at a rate of ulimted v.5 so it might not be that but I'm thinking it's the actual unit placement itself on the map like the stacked lurkers but I don't know for sure. Should expirament around untill you find the problem but there is a lag issue with full house when playing.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless
