The first mission of Rekt'Son: Rivalry is now available! Download it and its mod component in the post above.
Be on the lookout for the second and final mission, coming in the next few days!
That was fun, but there's a lot of crashes sometimes, like on the first run there weren't any but after that there was a lot, always triggered by conversations and presumably from all the sounds crammed in, it's pretty nunu/Todd/Tony to crash after freezing and repeating the word "AIDS" 20 times in a row but still pretty annoying.
Also had two Black Panthers at some point, not sure that's supposed to happen, I thought the Black Panther is a hero since it's so strong but maybe not, it felt buggy since I didn't rescue the one on the left or destroy the orange base, he just jumped in at some point.
🤙🏾
It's possible to get three black panthers.
Are you running the mod? I have never experienced a crash. You shouldn't have any problems with that anyways since there's crash prevention in the mod's plugin.
I definitely play with the mod exe and 1.16.1, the crash error is "Starcraft cannot open a required file: " followed by the name of the map which probably doesn't help, it can only be avoided by holding ESC to skip conversations.
🤙🏾
You should probably reinstall StarCraft. I cannot replicate this issue at all, even on virtualised WinXP, and several friends have tested the map with no problem whatsoever.
I came across an issue a long time ago with StarCraft being unable to read maps that have very long paths.
That is to say, it may be worth trying to reinstall SC closer to the root of the drive. C:\Games\StarCraft for example.
Additionally, SC may be hitting the path limit with the sounds in the map. ex. .../Starcraft/maps/mymap.scx/mymapsound.wav might end up being too long. So to diminish this risk, the mapper, Pronogo, might consider using some short form of banking sound files.
Of course, the issue might be something else entirely.
My actual path is C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft\Maps\[Project Archive]\[Active]\Saga of the Xit'Son\Rekt'Son\2015 - Rivalry
I doubt that is the problem.
I moved the mod exe and the map from E:\brood2\starcraft\maps\BroodWar just one level higher and renamed them both to really short names, like r.exe and r.scx, this stopped the crashes for what it's worth.
🤙🏾
Very strange that it didn't impact me. I'll include a notice in a readme when the second map drops. Thanks for the info.
A full release is projected for sometime later today, the 10th! This includes the full second (and final) mission, while also patching up some inconsistencies in the first mission (nothing major) and adding some functionalities to the mod that previously weren't there.
Stay tuned for more updates!
The real Rivalry was cancelled, they got alot of issues of the scripts, but it won't cancelled forever though. This one is kinda different from the original one.
Heres the real Rivalry

None.
I made the 'real' rivalry. It was cancelled because it was shit.
I forgot to release part 2. Oops.
It's now available! Enjoy!
A small patch has been pushed to address audio inconsistencies with previous installments of SotX'S, as well as correcting a very minor issue with unit placement in map 2. Additionally, a readme has been included, as well as a unit test map that showcases most of the mod-related changes.
This project is now in its final stage and unless a bug or issue is reported to me I will be pulling away from work related to it so that I can focus on future releases. My next project will not be related to SotX'S and it is likely that you will not hear news about SotX'S for many months. Thanks to everyone who made this possible and to everyone who played the various releases throughout 2015.
Cheers. And stay tuned for the future.

This campaign that I played has more sex jokes, for me I guess. I know it's an comedy map, and I don't want to bring seriousness here. The first map kinda feels like Starcraft Ruins of Desmond. Where two Terran co-op players defeat those Terran Dominion. But in here, it's different. I managed to stop those Protoss, but somehow they keep spawning. However, I managed to destroy their building before more of their forces will come. The first area was a stress with the modified Terran units. The Firebat unit died quick, and also I am almost dead for them. The only thing is becareful on the first round, try not to let your hero unit and your regular units die, so quick. Second round, where the medic didn't have heal icon in it. Somehow, it can attack with a slap? What a joke, I thought it could fire and heal our forces. But so far, I already completed the first level.
The Second level was a stress. The map kinda feel like Aiur to me, but with some Zergs. I pressed down my hotkeys for my heroes and my units. When I saved the game it was ok, until I load the game. Then this error got appeared from nowhere. The good thing is I saved it. The bad thing is, I didn't saved so often, blah. When I tried to attack the enemy Zerg base on the bottom, they just keep coming and coming. They never stop as I say. It feels like Zerg Rush to me. What a disaster what I see. I almost let my hero died, then saved the game or let my hero go behind my units instead of the front. The Heroes in this campaign would die quick, but you have to becareful. When I constructed my base after destroying the enemy Zerg base on the bottom. More Protoss and Zerg forces had gone insane to attack me. I mean, what the hell. What is this some sort like the mission from Starcraft Major 3? That's crazy, there are all over the places, and I cant'managed to beat them all. So I decided to use this headache cheatcode to beat the level, which didn't make me think. I manage to go on some cave where they got some Zerg units, which not bad. But what with the rave music, Zerg Rave club? After I cleanse the enemy Protoss and Zerg base which established the path. Then finally, I decided top decheat code and manage to get the Crystal where the High Templar were guarding. One of the most crazy, insane, jokiest, and parodist StarCraft campaign that I played.

None.
I hope your next campaign would be different than this parodist one.
