Just like the Siege tank and Duke tank, but without using the zerg mutation function, I believe that the siege tank transformation function could be reused but wiould require you to have 4 units, of which 2 of them will be the base unit and the other two being the turrets for every corresponded mode.
For units that are supposed to transform but doesn't have a turret, the turret unit would still exist but would be unarmed and blanked.
Because 2 transforming units in the game is not enough if you want or need additional ones.

Any suggestions on how to do this (reusing the tank transformation function) or maybe an other creative solution?

Ok, could there be some possibilty to mimic the transformation function in rerms of gameplay.
Let's say you'd like to introduce the Warp Prism and it would have to transform between pylon (stationary) and travel form (mobile), how would it be if it was mimiced with the zerg mutation function?
The effect woukd only havet o be played backwards if that's possible for this purpose.

Any thoughts?
