Alright so I just got a new computer (friend old one just put my old graphics card and hard-drive into his). I can't seem to get any sound from my computer though... Whats wrong?
COMPUTER SPECS
CPU: x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11 GenuineIntel ~2400Mhz
RAM: 4 Gigs
Sounds Card: AMD High Definition Audio Device
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 5770
OS: Windows XP Professional
DirectX Version: 9.0
I Torrented a program that updates my drivers for me. But there was one missing from one of the Audio drivers. Anyone know where I can find a driver for the sound card?
Also,
Under the Device Manager the "Game port for MediaVision" and the "MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device" has a yellow exclamation mark. Would this have an effect on it?
None.

I recommend using the drivers from the manufacturer and not ones from some driver update program. What you need to do is uninstall any multimedia/sound device in device manager, restart windows and then install the proper drivers from your mobo cd. Alternatively go on the AMD site, find your mobo model and get the sound drivers from there.
Problem solved... Figured it out

The program I used updated it just didn't use it properly first time lol.
None.
