So anyway. There's this old game I played as a young child. I honestly can say I don't even remember ever buying it or getting it or whatever. I had it for the gameboy, so that's the version I'm going to be talking about. It's actually really hard to find any videos or anything for the exact version that I played.

For more reading. The story is pretty irrelevant. The game is a reskin (aka completely identical, minus a pac-man sprite), I found out, to a game called Fury of the Furries. So anyway play here. Oh, and, as an edit, it can take awhile to load that site so patience. The game is really slow to play, extremely unforgiving, and really frustrating at times. Gogogo.

Getting to the point of the thread, there was a level that was LITERALLY completely impossible to beat as far as I could tell. I am not joking. I wanna see if I can't get to the level, figure out how to beat it with my wisened (lul) ways of an adult, and then complete the game. If you want to help me, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Here are some codes if you wanna be where I am atm, or if you wanna go ahead and play through yourself that's cool too. Really this thread has a dual purpose of spreading this old thing and getting past a childhood wall.

Level codes: (Format is "world-level: code")

2-10: WXDXJ
3-1: ZQMMR

Here's a video of the game. It's not the version I'll be playing, as it is in color, has like 10x the screen size, etc etc, but it gives an idea of the game.

Wow I completely forgot about this game. I remember playing this though I can't recall how far I've gotten. Yeah it was a tough game though. I'll play it again too and see how far I can get. Thanks for reminding me about this game. :bleh:

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Wow a jump and run without the run part...

I never said it was a really good game. I said I wanted to beat it.

Edit: I'm now back to where I was when I was a kid. Level 6-10 is completely impossible. Someone give hand plox? Halp?

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius
