I have an idea for a 1v1 game. Basically one side has zerglings and the other has probes. The player with probes also has one nexus, one pylon, and one cannon, but the nexus is placed out of range. 8 probes have to fend off an invading 10 zerglings (unless you can find a more balanced matchup). The main goal for the zerg is to destroy the nexus, and the probes have to fend off the attack. this is meant to be a simple little game, maybe you can make it into a tournament. I would really love if someone made a game like this, especially since I actually have fun fending off those pesky little vermin, no matter how much they royally piss me off. I like micro based maps.

Why not make it yourself?

I know nothing about the
map editor
It's a fairly simple map for those of you who know how to use itI assume. Perhaps you can even add a 1p mode where you choose zerglings or probes against a computer, that would be cool
EDIT: would be best that if the probes go all in and just attack the zerglings, the probes would win. but the probes need to have a fair chance as well.

Imunna make you an offer. I'll make this map for you, then make videos of how I did it. Then you will watch the videos, and read more conventional tutorials. And then you will make your own map next time.
(I seriously don't see what's at all hard about this though. Place units, remove unused abilities, and a bit of flag editing (make Zerglings prevent defeat and the Pylon/Cannon not prevent defeat). Oh and a simple map-revealer trigger. I'm probably going to expand on this when making the tutorial map so that it's actually useful for you.)

If you make a video on how you made the game, I will look it over, and will learn alot from it
thank you
EDIT: I may do a bit of terrain and placement editing to balance out the map if needed, though it may not be.

I think I'm going to give Ickle Probies some spellz: One directs the Nexus to use Chrono Boost, speeding them up; one is pushes nearby lings out of the way, one puts the caster in antigrav, and one summons an immobile Zealot. The lings will also have some spells: One is a temporary Burrow ability, one summons a Broodling (which is deadly but short-lived), one teleports the ling (but not instantaneously), and one self-destructs the ling to heal nearby lings a bit.
And there will be an AI.

No, you just ruined it. Keep It Simple Stupid.
If I was making this as an actual map, rather than a tutorial, yes. However I have no intent to release what I create. If she wants to remake it with what my tutorial teaches her, that's fine. I personally hate the whole concept of this map... I'm only doing it as an example of the technical stuff that goes into a map.
