The Terran Thor seems absolutely amazing ... although I read somewhere it reacts too slow, and dies fast. I wonder how long each one takes to build.

No one knows if Thor is both air and ground attack? If it didn't that would be a downer for terrans because they would have too much anti-ground.

WOW GG Terrans vs air. Terrans have gotten really strong in land but not on air. I think this game is going to be something like Terran is pro-land, Protoss is pro-air, and zerg is extremely strong in both aspects.

We already have the list of all the units that are going to be released. But we have like a little chance that they might be removed or edited.

"We already have the list of all the units that are going to be released. But we have like a little chance that they might be removed or edited."

ignoring the logical fallacy in it, it's still a VERY ignorant statement.

with statements, unless it comes straight from blizzard, it has 0 credibility. not to mention basic common sense would reason out that a game in pre-alpha would encounter many changes, especially since changes have already occured(and still occurring for that matter).

Are you stupid? The sources are from the site is from korean blizzard.

QuoteBut we have like a little chance that they might be removed or edited.

Key quote. Shows that I never said it was going to stay like that. It is obvious because many of the units that was in the list were removed, but did exist.

hence, the logical fallacy part of it.

if the list can be changed, then you do not have "the list of all the units that are going to be released." You have a possible list, but that by no means is a definite guarentee. Disagreeing would be like saying all alpha versions(of things in general) are identical to their final versions.

you think that they won't add new units? they just added in the firebat today( http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?fn=sc2-general&t=23162&p=1&#post23162 ). They even said they are "always testing the addition of new units."

keyword: always

so you're trying to 'beat me over the head' with evidence that you didn't provide on request* AND you're saying that Blizz would neglect to put this in english?

*it was made by another person, but that is irrelevant

You must be really stupid. I never said they won't add anything else. And yes, blizzard would neglect it in English, just like how they had the conference and showed the units so far in the blizz con in Korea.

you have got to be kidding me...

anyhow...since you've left it to me to find your article...this IS it: http://pc.ign.com/articles/788/788627p1.html

and what do you know...it says nothing about having a final list of units/structures.

in conclusion, you really have no idea what you're talking about

The opinion on GameFAQs seems to be that the Thor is just a damage sponge, and not really worth using. I think that it's going to be terrific siege weapon along with the tank, although I'm doubting it's usefulness as an air unit.

can you link me to that thread?

the thor looks pathetically weak HP-wise.

it absolutely crumbled under attack from like only 5-7 cobras. a single yamato should knock it out of commission(with damage to spare).

O)FaRTy1billion -- why are there so many versions D:
[06:35 pm]
Mini Moose 2707 -- Sorry, 1.6 is here in case you wanted it. I think G is what people mainly host on battle.net these days.
[06:35 pm]
Mini Moose 2707 -- There are also the C versions by ClansAreForGays which I believe he is no longer working on and has passed to IAGG for his G versions. I can also offer Unholy's File: Temple Siege v1.6 beta1.6 from February 2010, which I don't think caught on as much as the G versions. I haven't heard of ib versions, but I also haven't been following TS much, either. Those were taken/given to FlashBeer to make 1.7.

TwinShort -- Was temple siege based off anything?
[06:32 pm]
TwinShort -- Oh also do you know where I can download g1e?
[06:31 pm]
Mini Moose 2707 -- I have a place in TS and I know it. My contributions made the game what it is, but they are not what's kept it going since I stopped editing it.
