hey, been trying to start working on translations for a few maps. however i haven't been able to load korean text? it just shows as unicode instead of the actual text. of course i have the language pack installed. uninstalled and reinstalled scmdraft and nothing changed. anyone have an idea?

I see you !

I'm still working on updating all windows to support unicode, and until that is done I can't toggle the global switch. What may work is setting the system codepage to korean / UTF-8, but I do not know.

No clear idea - when I redo a window, I make sure its also updated for Unicode. Occasionally I switch the setting to Unicode and update random files. But I don't have a percentage or anything, and its not that high a priority because as far as I know the Korean text is displayed (mostly) correctly on native Korean windows, and its really really boring work, which I already avoid doing at my day job. I don't have an install myself so I can't test that.

System code page: that is the setting windows uses to convert ANSI text data to actual text. So if it is set to US to turns Korean into gibberish, If it is set to Korean it converts it to Korean text, etc.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
