The game is probably not going to be called boundz 2, but rather be released as a new title. It has bigger screensize, improved and flashy colorful graphics and now sound effects on all the explosion!
What i am currently missing most is a new main character, i am using the sc1 ultralisk as a temporary because i don't think i am allowed to use it for a commercial'ish game. The old game had a frog, but i think i want something more similar to a zergling for that classic bound feel! but maybe a bit more colorful.. i am hoping to put something together in 3ds max, but i am not very good.. Would anyone consider creating a funny top-down animated monster for me? if it's cool and i use it, and the game turns profitable, we can work out some compensation.
Feel free to reply with any questions and comments about the game!

hehe, fourth gen ipod, 4.3, that's the exact same ipod i use for testing. I wanted to update to ios 5 but itunes just doesn't work.. full reinstall didn't fix it either. But the biggest problem on creating a ios version is that i don't actually have mac.. i burrowed my dads for a while and another from a friend for longer to get Epic Stack, and Hungry Fish ported.
But yeah, i might be able to do that again just don't expect it really soon.. Making the flash version is far easier, more customizable and more fun. The screen size is 720x480, arrow keys control and w,a,s,d nudge camera, pause screen (p\esc). I need to make a pathfinding system before i can port to mobile touch, and the resolution needs to be 960x640 or 480x320.. And as soon as i put it online in flash it will be played by many thousands the first day, so that's really the most fun release and i can track statistics about how people play. how many times they clicked that.. played that.. where they die the most etc.
oh well.. i am just ranting on, thx for the video comment, and i will contact you when i get the game running on ios, you can also beta the flash version now if you want?
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
