I have a problem that I actually have no idea about how to fix.
Specifically, I took my Drone and duplicated it twice, each time only copying over the Unit itself, it's main Actor, and it's main Model data. Afterwards, I named them Drone (+100HP), Drone (+50HP), and Drone (+25HP).
In their Actor section, I changed their model scaling to 1.0, 0.8, and 0.6 respectively.
Lastly, I changed their RGB values to 55/55/255 (blue), 55/255/55 (green), and 255/55/55 (red), in the Color tab in the Models section.
Now, in-game, the renaming and model scaling has worked.
However, the Drones are not blue, green, and red.
How to fix?
The map with the problem is attached for your convenience.
Have you tried a Set Tint actor message?
None.
What are you talking about?
I can't find what you're talking about in Actors/Models, though I've found a working trigger for this purpose, I guess.
Add a new event that calls Set Tint Color.
None.
wow that's ass backwards
Okay, thanks, it works (but it's still stupid).
You could use a single actor/model for this using Actor events. You would use the unit damaged event and then add a term which uses a validator which checks a units health and a tint for the action.
None.
What do you mean by that? Wouldn't that mean my Drone would have to be damaged first or something?
>be faceless void >mfw I have no face

Check max health, not current health. (I think.)
Red classic.
"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."
But doesn't the Drone still have to be damaged first?
And, won't my Drones all have to be the same unit in this scenario? I prefer them being separate, since they each would have their own names.
Besides that, as separate units, I can detect which of the three are actually being collected by the Player so I can add the right amount of HP to my unit.

Yeah if that's what you want, just have several copies. Easier all around.
