No one realizes that this is actually a WarCraft II TC. LOL

Warcraft II doesn't have the Burning Legion as a race. This mod was made during the speculative period of Warcraft 3 teasers.

Hercanic is right, it was made when we didn't know a lot about Warcraft III and shutdown before we really learned much of anything about Warcraft III. It is definitely not a Warcraft II TC though, but it took a lot of graphics from II and some speculation combined with starcraft to make it :D.

I'm a little too busy with my current project + the new mini-mod started for the SMC4 to be side tracked by this. The War3TC mod needs some stat_txt.tbl strings corrected that are causing certain buttons to crash. Ideally, the mod's graft should just be rebuilt from scratch as was AR and OR as the .pat that can be extracted from the old Stardraft version is inconsistent with the actual game. A dedicated individual who doesn't mind spending hours and hours of their time on someone elses mod painstakingly recreating the thing to be as close to the original as possible is what the project needs in order to be rebuilt. Doing so means to the outsider nothing will seem different and the hours of labor of this individual will go un-noticed and somewhat unappreciated. Not many are willing to put this kind of effort into something to receive almost no recognition. They would truly have to love the mod. I for one am not that motivated by it to undertake such a job.

Well can you upload what you had done so far somewhere and then maybe someone will take up the project?

sure np. You'll need the war3tc.mpq, but that shouldn't be too hard. Maybe someday I'll find time to work on this, just too committed to my own project right now. Good luck w/ conversion. It will be worth it as the mod is quite fun.

War3Tc.zip
* For 1.16.1 FGraft.

I've only looked at it so far, we had the same version of the TC right aside from the file you made for 1.16.1 that you uploaded? Or did you have that 3.0 release that nobody else could find I can't remember. Anyway I might teach myself modding and get around to working on it. But if someone more experienced in that area has time to don't let me stop you :-).

Yo what's the status of this project? If it's still going I wouldn't mind helping out. Perhaps I can see about de-fucking that iscript? I've got some experience working with ICE to revive old broken iscripts.

Someone PLEASE reupload version 2.0 and 2.2. I remember trying to download this conversion way back in the day on dialup, I lost connection during the download and when I reloaded the page Blizzard had axed the project... I've wanted to play this for years, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I'm new around here so i'm not sure if reviving an old thread would cause me any trouble. Anyways, on to the point. I've been looking for this conversion for quite some time now. Started hunting for it earlier this year when I was playing War2 for fun. I remembered that this conversion is, by all means, unlike any other. I DLed the conversion YEARS ago but that was before Infoceptor gets thrown down and the hard drive for which the conversion files are in is corrupted. :/

I would greatly appreciate if someone upload the v2.0 or the latest file somewhere. I've been dying to get my hands on this conversion since Infoceptor's axing. Please help.
