Problem with this... I have no idea how to use EUD's I never really got that far into Starcraft's map editor. It's weird because I've been playing Starcraft ever since it came out, and I started working on maps maybe 1-2 years into the game, and yet I'm still not all that good at making maps... I'm decent with extended terrain and I'm not the best with triggers... If there is someone out there willing to teach me a little more about triggers and mapping that would be great! If you need to contact me I'm usually on Asia, because I'm currently IP Banned from East and West (Not sure why I got banned from both).

EUDs aren't really good for a whole lot since your actions for them are very limited. Trying to use EUDs for anything worth using, will cause players to desync from each other.

Yeah I basically like the idea of using a location for each player and as a tank is brought into the location toggeling allience status or invinsability. Also what pigy said i think or something the way point casting system could be very effective for grenades n stuff etc.

map sounds very nice if you can pull it off but you'll have to get creative if you wnat to pull off the full effect of gears of war...I'd like to help if I can. ;o

Yo I'm pretty good at triggering, though I'm not the best I'm pretty experienced. I can also do a fair amount of terraining though im by fare not the best.
triggers is mostly what i'd like to help with

The maps in my signiture are by fare my worst maps...I have 2 maps dat im working on that show some good stuff of what I can do. the maps are sc hockey and another un named project if you'd like to c them

I started working more on the Trailer, and I'm really proud of what I got, and I wanted to post it up tonight sometime... So here it is!

It's barely anything, as soon as I finish the texts I'm gonna add scenery, but I may need some ideas from some people, so if you want your idea in the trailer post it up! :D

This trailer is mainly made for ideas, and when I get all these ideas up and when the trailer is done I'm gonna start working on the map.

I had to test it on Asia, so if the sounds are not in sync with the text, that would be your reason why...

That's complete bullshit, EUD's are still capable of insane things without actions, you obviously don't know much about them just for typing those two sentences.

Either way... I probably still wont use any in the map anyways, and if I were to use one, I would probably use a health detecting EUD. Other than that, I wont be using any, because like some one said earlier I should be using vHP.

Using waits? why not deaths?
Btw, i hope this map comes out good, b/c i dont have it for my 360, i would have to borrow it from my friend or just play this... lol
I'm working on a map that uses deaths for a lot of things, even the beginning... i'll post about it after i get a few screenshots [probably in the next hour i will let the demo play, after i work with the boss]

Well... I've been working hard on the Trailer, and it's looking good so far! Just need to do a few touch ups, but other than that the texts are all done! Now time to get to work on the Terrain and scenes!

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
