Just a quick question I didn't notice info for in the wiki. I was wondering, does anyone happen to know how the AI would react to its own vision being turned off? Does it ignore that? etc.

None.

All I can say is test it.

If you go up near it it will follow you (if you're it's enemy) but it won't attack unless you attack it (giving it 'vision', like how it reveals a siege tank that hurts you from far off)

None.

Thanks for the input. I really have no reason to use it... it just came to me. So now I wonder if they can run melee AI well without vision, for instance. If not, you could perhaps have a separate player with map revealers and shared vision so that it'd only build in or attack at certain places.

If it's true they don't attack at all unless you attack them, then it might be an interesting way to make an allied comp that would more readily attack you if you hurt it, and yet would also fight another player if they shot it (ie., one with vision to see the blind comp). So basically you might be able to lure some comps in to fight alongside you. Of course, you should be allied to your "ally" comp.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
