A multiplayer cooperative campaign scenario, part of the Galactic Empire Saga. 1- 4 players against 3 entrenched AIs and one spawning player. There are 3 selectable difficulty levels.

The scenario begins with a single Dark Archon per player. You must take that Dark Archon to one of the 3 nearby beacons to select the difficulty level for the scenario. The difficulty levels are: 1 Master, 2 Skilled, 3 No Good. Master should challenge 4 master players while Skilled should challenge 3 master player or 4 skilled players. No Good is a compstomp.

Once you select the difficulty of the scenario you will be given 3 drones, 3 SCVs and 3 probes and 2000 minerals. You must choose what race or races you are going to play. You have no starting Hatchery, Command Center or Nexus. Your first action should be to build one.

You are also given a You, (Marine) if You dies, you lose.

You also have Ouruuk, (Overlord) he is your means for controlling the zerg. If you lose Ouruuk at any point, all of the Zerg units under your control will turn against you.

You also have Jana, (Ghost) and Kate (Medic). They are nonessential, but nice to have around.

This scenario pits you against 3 entrenched Zerg AI and one spawning Zerg ai.

You will start with your player allies in the Southwest corner of the map. There are enough minerals and gas initially visible for everyone to get a good foothold. But, don’t get too comfortable, this isn’t a money map.

In this scenario you control the Doom Mutalisk. However, you only control it while it sleeps. When it’s rage grows too great it will awaken and turn on you. It will fight against you until it sleeps. You might kill the Doom Mutalisk for your safety, but if you do you will not be able to defeat the Invincible that wait for you. You can win without a living Doom Mutalisk, it is just harder.

As with all the Galactic Empire scenarios both strategy and tactics are important. You may have to attempt this scenario several times to learn what strategies and tactics are most effective.

Next time.. Showcase all ur maps in One topic .. it'd make it more epic, and not spammy and noobish like u are now :P...

Since it's melee.. i'm not gonna try it </3... (unless sm1 else recommends this)... but this seems interesting nonetheless =)
At least you put in SOME description... .... copied and pasted... ugh..

Thanks for the suggestions. When I polish another GE scenario to release quality, I'll repost them all in the same thread. btw, they are quite epic.

You called them melee. Why? they are definitely UMS scenarios.

The descriptions all begin the same because the general rules of the scenarios are all the same. The specifics come at the end of the descriptions. The general rules of the scenarios make them different from most other scenarios out there. The details make these 4 scenarios different from each others.

I know you probably won't value my recommendation highly, because I am the creator of the scenarios. Nevertheless, I highly recommend these scenarios to you IF:
you enjoy working with other players for a common goal,
you enjoy being challenged,
you are willing to play a challenging game for 1-2 hours, (1 if you are fast, 2 if you are slow)
you are willing to attempt a scenario several times to win.

Because they are similar to UMS. When people think "UMS", they think of things like Temple SIege that are nothing at all like melee.

Uhm... This will sound rude, but I don't think you can get a UMS map to "release quality" if it's mostly melee...

Screenshots are a huge part of it. People love media...

A less technical and more flavorful/storyful topic post would be good, too.
