Mouse defense hard mode!

I'm sure many of you have played Doodle77's Mouse Defense. A single player EUD defense map where you kill units by running them over with your mouse. It's really a stroke of luck that this map is still playable under the current version.

Unfortunately once you get the hang of it, the map is pretty easy.

So here's how you enable hard mode. After you've beaten the map wait for the victory trigger, and then save the replay when you get to the victory screen.

Load the replay and set the speed to 2x. To beat hard mode get to the end of the replay without getting the "you lose" message.
That's right, Mouse Defense is the only defense you can actively play IN THE REPLAY!

EDIT: Doodle has just discovered that playing the map on slowest poses its own unique challenge.

Dungeon Master

I found that making it faster didn't really increase the difficulty all that much, so yeah I beat it :P

That's because doodle used waits instead of elapsed scenario time, damn him :P

I can't beat it on slowest. :(
It's because the explosions are slower too.

It should be released as a replay so that friends can have competitions on Battle.net(no desync in replays).

This is pretty neat.
I know this used EUD's, but what exactly are they?
Boggles my mind :omfg:

Oops, that replay doesn't allow more than one player. I'll edit it some time.
All EUD triggers work in replays.

I tried this as a regular map. Beat it my first try...
But it's fun. I haven't seen a system like it before.

Here is a cool map that is basically the same thing, but the grid goes 2048 times more accurate.
It goes to the pixel so make sure you get on the unit exactly.

Note: For some reason if you open the text editor in scmdraft and save, it screws up the euds.

Please don't bring back my suppressed memories of the time I tried to make a map ;_;

Thats why you always save a backup and test constantly to fix glitches easily before you cant fix it or so you can fix it fast. :bleh:
