Heh heh, Uncle Broody. That's a good one.
Also, this has the tbl path fix? Good. No more strange exceptions.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
I love you Broody. Now DatEdit can digest the TBL's I shove down it's throat.

I like this version cause it likes me
.Really though now I can make dat edits alot easier and without bugging Corbo or Voyager.

I love you Broodkiller
If anything cool is ever going on Skype me up under the name "blarghle"
I guess it's time for me to upgrade from DatEdit 1.4

I seem to have found a magical way to corrupt images.dat. I don't know if this happens with other entries, but this is how I found it:
Go to the supply depot overlay, set grp to 0 and iscript to 0. Boom, crash on startup.
ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO
I guess it's time for me to upgrade from DatEdit 1.4

This does not corrupt images.dat, it is just an ordinary crash. This makes the entry's GRP property point to a non-existant string in images.tbl (ID = -1) . When SC gets fed with data like that, it says "adieu".

Why can't I seem to do anything with .dat files (namely, adding them to an MPQ) while DatEdit has them loaded? This is VERY annoying, as I have to close DatEdit to add a file to my MPQ, and then reload them again when I want to make a change.
Awesome !
No Error... NO ERROR!!
THE FIRST TIME I DIDN'T GET A FCKNG ERROR!
Good Job... awesome programm^^
Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

If anyone else has this problem, it's because you're using the same MPQ for DatEdit to take GRPs from. In options, set it to use StarDat, or a clone of your mpq (if you still want to see your grp changes).
Thanks to BK for the solution.
