I've never been much into console games, but if I had a DS, I would so definitely have to get Kirby: Canvas Curse and Kirby: Squeak Squad.
And probably the Castlevanias, too.
Although, I don't have money available for all that, so I'm just playing them on my computer for free. >_>

layin' in the cut

R4 SUCKS
get a cyclo, got one a few days ago, couldn't be more pleased.

Cyclo supports larger cards (up to 32 gb) so I got a 4gb card, and have loaded it up with homebrew, 39 ds games, music, skins, and other stuff. I payed 70 with shipping for the card, and 50 for the 4gb microsd, but i will never have to pay for a DS game again. It works really well, I have a NES, SNES, GB/C, genesis emulator on it, full speed with sound. Fantastic. No patching of Homebrew req'd. Don't pay $40 a game, pay $120 (3x 1 game) for DS games for life, plus all the extras.

I bought mine on gamersection.ca, shipping was $10 for 3-5 business days. I got it in 1.5 days. Now that is service.

this too shall pass

Relatively ancient and inactive

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was enjoyable. FF: Revenant Wings was enjoyable but a bit redundant. Mario Kart owned, as did the 3D mario game (best of the lot, but I forgot its name. The one with 150 stars). Actually, I'm kinda playing GBA games again. Golden Sun, FFTA and Fire Emblem FTW!

With Cyclo you can play all those games, any wifi games work on wifi, any download games work on download play, and you can download gamesaves from the internet. It is fully Action Replay code compatible, so if you get stuck, pop in a code and get to playing.

I seem like a frickin salesman for this thing... but I have to say, it is one of the best products I have ever used.

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD

Vrael -- damn is that all EUD effects?
