THEME

The theme for this mapping contest is PUZZLES. The idea here is to come up with great puzzle concepts. It can be riddles, it can be SC-related puzzle (think of qPirateKing's StarCraft I map "Nydus Canal" or of Kaias' StarCraft I map "One Trigger"), or look more like Devourer's type of puzzle maps (adventure-type, with rooms), or Puzzling maybe (puzzles requiring coordination, with rooms)?

JUDGING

Theme: 10
Is it actually a puzzle map? Should be easy points.

Professionalism: 15
The aesthetic in general, color choice, atmosphere, lighting, typos, etc. The number of things that could make you lose points on this is rather large.

Fun: 15
Judges will have to keep in mind that these are puzzles, and therefore people playing these maps are probably expecting puzzles. Thus, while they might not find it fun to solve your riddle, maybe it was exactly what someone else was expecting.

Originality: 10
Is this original? Am I going to wish I had come up with the idea, first? Is this basically a well-known puzzle adapted to StarCraft II?

Total: 50 points

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Yeah, as with all SEN contests, the minerals come from SEN. I feel like I have to explain that every time we have one of these.

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless
[2024-5-06. : 5:02 am]
Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD

Vrael -- I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
[2024-5-05. : 9:35 pm]
Vrael -- that is insane
[2024-5-05. : 9:35 pm]
Vrael -- damn is that all EUD effects?

Oh_Man -- https://youtu.be/MHOZptE-_-c are yall seeing this map? it's insane
