So I figured out how to make SCMDraft 2 work for Mac Sierra 10.12. Here's the basic run through.
For finding the folder that contains the downloaded maps, you need to first enable your hidden folders. This will enable all your hidden folders.
1. Open Terminal found in Finder > Applications > Utilities.
2. In Terminal, paste the following: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES.
3. Press return.
4. Hold the 'Option/alt' key, then right click on the Finder icon in the dock and click Relaunch.
5. Then go into your Macintosh HD / Users / *You* / Library / Application Support / Blizzard / StarCraft / Maps / Download
Now in order to get SCMDraft to work on the Mac, you need to download winebottler as well as have SCMdraft 2.
http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/
Download scmdraft 2 from a simple google search.
1. After installing this drag and drop both wine and winebottler to your Applications Folder.
2. Open up Wine and enable Directx9
3. Open up WineBottler and go into "Advanced" at the top.
4. Select the Scmdraft2.exe after unzipping the file.
5. For the Installation Mode: Check the "copy file (Program) to the App Bundle"
6. Click install
7. After it finishes packing/unpacking, it should be almost ready to go.
8. Open it up and click Edit at the "Scmdraft 2 - Select Profile" page.
9. This should open up SCMdraft 2.0 Settings.
10. Redirect StarDat.mpq, BrooDat.mpq, and patch_rt.mpq, (respectively in that order OR IT WILL NOT WORK ) which can be found in your applications folder in the Starcraft Folder.
11. That's it should open up.
If there is enough interest, I can add pictures describing step by step procedures.
