Game is an evolutionary process that starts on a map with initial conditions defined by the game type, progresses with certain speed defined by the game speed, submits to laws of the imaginary world, takes place in the map environment, uses computational resources, progresses in certain limits, is held under control of intellectual or computer players, involves struggle of opposing players for victory conditions and finishes either in draw or defeat for everyone or in victory for a group of allied players that agreed for the allied victory. Games may be singleplayer or multiplayer. These vary by such nuances of the game mechanics as but not limited to: availability of cheat codes, presence of latency, circumstances under which game pause may occur, behavior of some trigger actions (such as Center View and Pause Game), possibility to change speed of the game after the start of the game.
