While it's reasonable to assume that I don't understand some of the concepts, it doesn't mean I can't postulate or give my opinions about your map here. Besides, you can always take my opinions lightly.

But, there is one thing from that list of maps you made that tells me that I was wrong about there being no new concepts available. Still, I find that most of the new maps aren't very interesting in concept.... especially this one... (except for the bridge blocked by minerals.. but that concept's been done...) tho it's a good example of how things should be done (as your maps always are :rolleyes: )

Anyway, http://www.panschk.de/mappage/junktion2.6.jpg looks the best to me :P

Both of those were made by BWMN mappers who I am sure are in contact with eachother. Rip-off would be a step too far in this case.

A map's concept doesn't necessarily have to be artistic, nor does it have to have special meaning. It can also have strategical concepts, which all pro maps require; and a basic lay out of how builds and battles will commence through out the map. But to make use of that also implies one would have a very 'good' knowledge of the game and its characteristics.

And just because one concept has been done- it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done again. That is an erroneous logic. Rather, it should be prompted to be done again, and again. Every concept can be mixed, combined with other concepts. Make them a new, with more or less faults, and with more margin for different strategies.

Yeah, I agree.
But I think I can speak for the handful of people who cares about the melee section on SEN that... Excalibur can do better ;)
