I'm currently trying to get my campaign voiced, and I've gotten most of the characters done, but there are still some left over. Some are:
- Arnold Tarasov (Russian voice preferred)
- Luther Maxwell (UED captain; normal voice)
- Terran Battlecruiser
- Shirok (Protoss hero DT)
- Sicarius (Protoss DT)
- 1 Protoss "boss"
- Terran Civilian
Would anyone like to do these? I'll send you the script if you want to.

I could try one - but note, the quality of my mic isn't OVERLY great, and I haven't done any voice acting.
None.
posting a script snippit for each would be good for people to test out; XP i can try out some of the non russian dudes
None.
This sounds like a neat idea, but I find that 1. rando ppl from the internet voicing ur characters generally makes your map LESS professional (unless you happen across someone who can actually do good voice acting) 2. quality of majority of mikes are often alot lower then those in professioanl gaming voice acting places, tehy have sound booths and shit so the voice quality (both technically and emotionally) is likely to be bad. 3. I would imagine it would make your map HUGE in size. 4. I would also recommend getting your map competely finished, before going out for voice actors, cause fact is most maps don't get completed.
But yeh I would agree with Church, put up some snippets of dialogue so people can send back audio files, then you can listen and go "wow tahts exactly what I imagined that sounding like" or "wow that guy needs to get out of puberty".
I could give Maxwell and the Protoss a try. For the protoss you'll need something like AUDION to alter people's voices to give it that "alien" effect, I'm sure most people wouldn't be willing to voice act and then go and digitally modify their own voices, that's slightly out of the way lol.
None.
...Who says my campaign isn't finished? It's been done for months; I posted it in the Map Showcase yesterday.
I'm a russian and I guess I can make myself a heavy russian accent.
I don't have a proper microphone and I'm not sure whether my basic .wav recorder works (last time I tried something went wrong). So if you need my voice, be prepared to record it via Skype somehow. My voise isn't that deep, btw.
None.
Tarasov Script
Tarasov: "Attention, rebel force, this is General ArnoldTarasov. You are trespassing in Dominion territory. You will hold your position and wait to be transported to the nearest jail."
Raynor: "Felix, let me take it from here. So, Tarasov,I suppose you're Duke's replacement? You two sound exactly the same. I really wonder where Mengsk finds you all."
Tarasov: "Hush your mouth, boy. You won't be sayin' much when your "army" is under Dominion control."
Maxwell Script
Maxwell: "Attention anyone who can hear this, we...part of the United.. Ear... Directorate. We have... overrun by Dominion... We require back... as soon as poss..." -- This one is supposed to sound like a distorted message, so hopefully whoever wants to do this is good at adding static.
Maxwell: "My name is Luther Maxwell, and I am part of the last division of the United Earth Directorate. We have become overwhelmed by Dominion forces in this area, and we require backup."Raynor: "I'm Jim Raynor, leader of a rebel group fighting against Mengsk. Before the UED was destroyed, you were gonna take over this sector. Why would I help you?"
Maxwell: "That was not my idea! I was informed that we were coming here to tame an Overmind to stop it from coming to Earth. I had no idea of DuGalle's other plans!" Battlecruiser Script
Our engines were damaged by asteroids. We appear to have landed on some desolate planet.
Shirok Script
Shirok: "These pathetic monsters do not deserve to taste my blade. It is a pity how my brethren could no fend themselves from such meager creatures."
Aaros: "Aye, Shirok, the Khalai followers must be ashamed of themselves for letting these abominations take over their homeworld."
Shirok: "Their homeworld? No, Aaros, they have not lived long enough to see the true side of Aiur. I remember when my brethren were glorious warriors, and Aiur was filled with life and resources. Now, everyone has run to the shadows, and Aiur is but a desolate wasteland."
Sicarius Script
Sicarius: "I am Sicarius. The Temple Guardians had overpowered me and thrown me in here. You must be careful; the Guardians do not react well to intruders."
Sicarius: "There are dark powers blocking that path. Not those of the Dark Templar, but of the Guardians."
"Boss" Script
"You are not welcome here! You shall die for your intrusion!"
"The crystal belongs to my master! You will die before you get near it!"
"You shall not go any further. It is here that you shall die."
"This key shall not be touched! Leave now, or you will die."

I only read Tarasov's script. Though I don't know how you imagine him, I don't think that someone who sounds so official in his first line will end this conversation with such an emotional display.
How about this?
Commander Raynor, this is Arnold Tarasov. You are trespassing on Dominion territory. Hold your position and prepare to be taken into custody.
Raynor: "Felix, let me take it from here. So, Tarasov,I suppose you're Duke's replacement? You two sound exactly the same. I really wonder where Mengsk finds you all."
Very well, you've made your choice.
None.
@JaFF: That's not the whole script. There's actually a couple more lines to that conversation; I just put in those lines so that I could just get a sample.
Maxwell should just sound like a guy. He's a UED ghost, if that helps at all. Also, I realized that I need someone to do a battlecruiser voice for me. Anyone know what type of accent that is?

Stab in the dark, Ukrainian?
None.
Do you want a french caracter?
None.
lol, sorry, but none my characters sound french.
:\ ..
For some reason, my recorded voice sounds very kiddy like. But you don't need any kiddy voice acting
None.
"This place will be your tomb"
"You should not have come to this place"
"You'll suffer before you die, I promise"
"This is your end"
"I will be pleased to carve out your heart"
"*being hit*"
"*dying*"
"No, I must flee"
http://www.mediafire.com/?liimnu2dtvwLich sounds in BG2 would probably do well on the "Boss" monsters. You don't
have to voice everything.
"The crystal belongs to my master! You'll suffer before you die, I promise"
Since these are professional, I think they'll sound much better. The WAVs can be messed around with to lower the pitch to make it sound closer to a toss unit, but I rather think it sounds fine.
Battlecruisers sound french to me, and so does dugalle (if he's not french they picked 2 crappy people for him to be named after).
http://www.mediafire.com/?un0zaj1gz0jDT is REALLY hard. This is the best I could do, and it's absolute shit. If I knew which filters to use, maybe, but otherwise I'm stuck with a half assed muddy gverb.

"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
The Dark Templar doesn't have to be THAT heavily edited. Something like a deep voice with a little bit of effects added to it would be fine. This one made by pronogo sounds fine in my opinion.
edit: Thanks for the voices rockz! I changed them and they sound pretty good. I still need a person to voice one of the "bosses," though, because one of the heroes has a conversation with him.
