Just a simple question to SEN. A question like this could lead to something huge such as companies, industry, or countries.

Cooperative - You assist others, and/or acquire assistance from others. As being cooperative: you share, assist, etc. to others. For example, in video games there are two or more companies, where one develops, the other assists them in publishing (Or more companies assisting in developing), usually something like Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, or Nintendo assist smaller companies by publishing and advertising.

Competitive - You compete against others, and have a tendency to try to be better than others through rivalry. As being competitive: you try harder, learn from others and be better, etc. against others. For example, it is common to see Pepsi vs Coca Cola, Family Guy vs Simpsons vs South Park, Burger King vs McDonalds, United States vs Soviet Union/NATO vs Warsaw Pact, Microsoft vs Apple vs Nintendo, Microsoft vs Sony, Yahoo vs Hotmail, Google vs Yahoo vs Ask, etc.

Isolated - You are at your own league, and you improve yourself without any cooperation or competition. As being isolated: you improve youself, learn from self mistakes, try to succeed than fail by yourself. For example, Blizzard Entertainment supported itself during the 90s, and made their WarCraft, Diablo, and StarCraft franchises popular and being on top without much (or any) cooperation (WIth some exceptions like Vivendi and Activision) with other companies or competition against others.

Que Sera, Sera.

Cooperative, I love people and working with them.

Competitive, but partly both isolated and co-operative too :D

Isolated. I'm a soloist, and I hate how you usually can't in MMOs.

Blah blah, you play games with other people. No.

Back* from the grave

I tend to be isolated & competitive when I'm working on something, yet in my free time I'm cooperative because I'm very laid back. I didn't vote because all of them describe me equally.

I find it hard to say I am any one of those three.. more like parts of all of them.

Same here. But if I were to pick one, I'd say competitive; not to the point of grudges/rivalry, though. I keep it friendly.

Hello

I'm more coorperative than the other two options, but however it's always situation-related and therefor I cannot give a real answer.

EDIT: You got a small typo in the last but one line "...WIth some exceptions... "

Ditto. I'm a combination of cooperative and competitive. I want to be better than others at certain things but I also like cooperating with them. I dislike being isolated for too long - I'm not at all self-motivated.

It changes over time. It usually takes me weeks of observation before I can talk to someone. I usually become friends with them very quickly but then the friendship tends to fall apart because of me being overly attached to them. Fortunately, this pattern seems to be changing.

Relatively ancient and inactive

All three, pragmatically, I like to think. I'll also note that companies and countries don't usually simply stick to one of these, but do what they can to improve and get money, regardless of how you classify it. Microsoft competes against those who want to take their market shares, and cooperates when the cost of not doing so is greater than the benefit, and does things solo when it's something new and it doesn't want people copying any idea. I don't think countries and companies can't be classified by these.

Although I occasionally do all three, being more cooperative than isolated, I'm mostly competitive, but I'm not a sore loser, typically my competition is jokingly, and if I do beat someone, I typically try to be cooperative with them, because being better than everyone is boring :( If I'm doing something that I know I'm going to fail hard at, basketball, for example, I typically get more isolated, since I try to avoid things I'm horrible at, that, or I turn the whole thing into a big joke about how crappy I am at it ^^

Working with others gives me most of my motivation. I almost never play single player video games because of this. And I love studying with others. And helping others. I'm definitely definitely cooperative in every way.

wth is starcraft

I'm very isolated. There are very few things I enjoy collaborating on - and there are even fewer people I appreciate working with. I'd rather struggle through it alone then go up to someone for help. Typically, if its a choice between working in a group (in the workplace or school) or working alone, I'd rather work alone. Typically that means I do more complicated assignments...like instead of a fifteen minute group presentation a fifteen page essay...but I enjoy it that way. I hate thinking that *my* appearance is based on how someone else does something.

I do however like playing games with other people over playing alone, as long as they're competent and chill.

Wait. Can't you be competitive and isolated? I do appreciate they idea of kicking a team's ass when I worked on something all by myself.

Just Here For The Pie

Like most of the member here are saying, I am a mixture.

I am very cooperative with the world, but I like to be isolated when at home, locked away in my room.

Though, I cannot lock myself away anymore since my brother broke my door, and replaced it with the basement door which has no lock...

(You have no idea how many people bug me for my computer and Xbox 360, or just to lay on my bed.)

I can do any of the three, depending on the situation. I am slightly more likely to be cooperative than the others, I suppose.

Actually, if I were to specifically go into details.. I'm an Isolated Competitor.

..Meaning, that I compete with other Isolated people, at least in the way I put it, it makes sense.

Basically, I don't like something if it isn't something I can do myself. I prefer doing that thing that other people don't do. (I.e, not abusing imbalances or glitches in games, to the point that they're considered balanced.)

I also HATE people who say things cannot be done alone, or want you to feel that you should want help. I don't want it.
