In my new RPG map, I intent to use all of the triggers in my bag of trigger tricks. There are some of these tricks I do not know... For example, when a hero dies... how may I save his spot as to not bother the player with having to find an unlockable respawn spot?
~Thanks.
(P.S. -> My "b" key isn't working, can anyone help me out? I hate copying and pasting for them. D:)

Center a location on the hero?
None.

You can just have a location always centered on the hero dies, and respawn the hero there.

Center a location on the hero?
It doesn't work like that, also I've noticed you're helping a lot in UMSMA, and... It's always help with triggers that could relate in some off way to a topic, but it's just plain wrong, centering a location doesn't justify that it's going to save the spot of the unit.
(It relates to it but it's not the whole trigger.)

OK, make a burrowed unit appear where the hero was, owned by player 9 or something, and then when you need to respawn, center the hero location on the burrowed unit and create a new hero. You DO have a location for each hero, right?

I order you to forgive yourself!
Center the location if the unit exist in that location.
If the unit isn't there, the location won't move.
Something like:
Trigger 1Condition: P1 commands one HERO
Action: Center location P1 LOC at HERO owned by P1 at ANYWHERE
Trigger 2Condition: P1 commands 0 HERO
(Whatever you waht to be done for heroes to respawn)
Action: Create one HERO at P1 LOC
Edit: Don't forget to add preserve trigger!

It doesn't work like that...
Yes it does.
Do this:
Center the location if the unit exist in that location. If the unit isn't there, the location won't move.
Make sure that you don't have two of the same hero for the same player. Some rpg's have that hero on display somewhere else to indicate you're that hero.

Concerning the B key problem:
If you use [right click + paste] each time you want to type 'B'
you can instead hit the shortcut [
Ctrl + V].
Conversely, you can use [Ctrl + C] to copy.

Center the location on the hero. When it dies, the location stays in that spot.
Condition: Always
Action: Center location 1 on jim raynor
New Trig:
Condition:
Player commands 0 jims
(whatever)
Action:
Create 1 Jim raynor at location 1.
Preserve trigger.
This is correct. It will respawn the hero where it died. This is not wrong and while I may have 1 or 2 posts wrong every now and then does not mean I am clueless at map making.
If this is not what you are looking for, your original post wasnt clear either.

That's what I'm doing, I want an alternative option. o.o

- [Windows key] + r ==> charmap
- [Alt] + 98 (need to use keypad numbers!)
- buy a new keyboard. (recommended)
Also, the next one repeating the same (correct) solution will get his post deleted... -.-
clean your keyboard.
If you always center a location on a unit, and the unit does not exist, the location will be centered in the middle of the map. That's why you need to turn off the center trigger when the unit isn't there. One method is via an arena location. If you don't bring the unit to the large location, the unit isn't there, and you shouldn't center the location. If the unit can't die via triggers, you can detect deaths instead.

P1 brings atleast 1 <hero unit> anywhere;
Ceter p1 on <hero unit> owned by p1 at anywhere;
preserve trigger;
