List the worst game you've ever played, and give a few details on it.

For me it's got to be "The Rocketeer" for the Super Nintendo. You can't beat the first level, the sounds are annoying as hell, and it's just an over-all boring game. Now I'm just waiting for the Angry Video Game Nerd to do his rant on it.

Some game my friend rented from a local library, was it like "RESCUE HEROES" or something, it was bad, the library stocks the worst games apparently.

Whoa, what's wrong with Tekken?

I wanted to be controversial.

But I do hate Tekken with a fiery passion.

Mine has to be the legend of zelda: majora's mask. Basically, it scrapped the pretty much linear story line of the first, and added in a shitton of impossible side quests, with the also confusing as shit monotony of winding time back and forth. Fierce deity was awesome, but you had to spend 20+ hours on top of the normal playtime of the game in order to get all the masks to do it.

It was this nintendo game where basically, you run around a board and enter areas. These areas where just little quizes of general knowledge. Beat the game in a day. My dad shrunk wrapped that fucker back up and we took it back.

Shredder is insane, he can't handle side quests and can't handle the concept of time travel apparently.

It wasn't that, it's just that the game, in my experience, already had plenty of gameplay, and they jsut made all the sidequest for the masks 1. impossible to find basically without a guide, and 2. really freakin long. the time travel thing was jsut a pain because you'd go to do something, travel for the equivalent of 1 game day, it would take you two days to do it, and then you'd have to go back in time, travel another game day, and so on and so forth. It just could have easily been done without all the time travel business.

ocarina of time did it well by making all the side quests completely optional. The rewards you got from the sidequests were basically items that just made the game more fun, but didnt impact any of the major parts of the storyline to make them easier or w/e.

Ahaha, it's the worst game you've ever played because it was too hard for you? Majora's Mask is in mine, and many others opinions, the best Zelda game ever made.

It wasn't exactly hard, just annoying in my opinion.

And i cannot believe that's the best zelda game ever mad. Ocarina of time was much better, and even twilight princess was a thousand times better than majora's mask.

And also, if you even search the words "best zelda game" in google, you'll se just how many people share my opinion. Far fewer than the "many others" you mention.

just because people think Ocarina of time was a good game, doesn't mean they think "Majoras Mask was the worst game they ever played"

Except usually majora's mask isnt even in the top 10's of the lists.

Either way, why the hell are you guys even arguing with this in the first place? We were asked what was the worst game we ever played, and in my opinion, majora's mask is the worst game i've ever played. So there, nothing you say about it can really change my opinion on it.

Mario is Missing is the one with the time machine.

What side quest isn't optional? If it isn't optional, it is by definition no longer a side quest.


I did manage to get my hands on Superman 64 many years ago. This was before I watched AVGN's review of it. Since then, I've watched it and it's every bit as bad as he says it is.
