yea the clues suck a lot, but the only way to make progress is to vote, and i know hosts hate it when people abstain and its a tie vote.

Sounds awfully familiar. In speed Mafias people always suspect me because of activity, which is a stupid logic. Especially when I'm always active in Speed Mafias regardless of roles. If you want to see for yourself search Null for Greo's topics.
It's easy to put the blame on one the clue finder after the result is revealed. Following this logic no one should try to interpret clues because chances are smaller to get a mafia than a townie.

And yeah, sry TZ, but the strife thing wasn't totally unreasonable.
