And I don't play with EM-ers... So look like its a good thing for both of us.
What does EM mean? I'm pretty sure it's not EpicMafia, otherwise you have played with EMers
None.

EM is Easy Mode, it means more gold and exp. It's essentially a noob mode, which you shouldn't play, to the best of my knowledge.
Rockz you have church on WEDNSDAY? O.o

EM stands for easy mode. Basically you get 1.5x the exp, almost twice the gold, and all the towers are weaker.
It's unbalanced in comparison to normal mode. Carries get ridiculous because they can hit 500 GPM in the hands of a noob just by farming. People on the forums defending it, saying it's just faster, but it isn't. They claim all it does is make games shorter, but it actually changes the whole point of the game, as a team of 5 carries can actually win.
The point is, many people after playing a lot of EM have a hard time adjusting to NM. High EM percent is usually a sign that you're not the best player.
That being said, i don't truly believe ex is terrible, but he does have at least above an 80% em games.

I haven't played a single EM game then. It looked very unbalanced when I first saw it in the options

Good. Avoid it at all costs.

I usually Ctrl+F8 and type in 'reconnect' and spam it until I get into the game again.

I'm not playing EM by choice. Its my refusal to play with you terribad leavers that leaves me only my IRL friends to play with, and all they play is EM. I also don't play on my own much anymore.
Regrettfully enough, I came back to HoN. Funny thing is, I haven't gone negative for but one of the nine games I've played since.. Guess I haven't lost it.
I'm Lingie, in case you guys forgot me.

Just close HoN and restart it, has worked for me 100% of the time (except when we throned as the game crashed, lol).
EM is stupid.

Wednesday night services during Lent are not uncommon. Monday Thursday is tonight, then Good Friday is tomorrow, and Super Saturday is after that. Easter is the busiest time of the Christian calendar.
I thought the server crashed and I couldn't play anymore, so I just did something else. I didn't know you could log back in.
EM Games are harder to play because the skill involved is greater. If one player is clearly better than the rest, he will be able to get multiple kills per death and outlevel everyone else quickly. Every time you die, you lose a large amount of potential gold and experience.

Lol. EM games are not harder. A good player playing an EM game can farm and have tiered out items in 30-35 minutes if his team is equally good and places wards for him and stacks. Thankfully, these rare things don't happen much in EM due to virtually everyone who plays it being bad and having virtually no idea how to play correctly as a team.
Oh, and the fact that half of the heroes are fucking worthless.

I actually thing that this applies to Normal games as well. I mean, you just don't see so many of the heroes, and everyone picks the mainstream ones all the time.

I can name maybe 3 that are just outright bad heroes: Blood Hunter, Rampage, and Moon Queen. S2 has acknowledged the problem, it's an inherited one from DotA, and they've worked to make changes to prevent it from continuing. Down the road I don't think there will be a single uncompetitive hero.
Already, these have been buffed from DotA due to them being useless or one dimensional there to make them more competitively viable: Chronos, Legionnaire, Swiftblade, Blacksmith, Devourer, Armadon, Magebane, Slither. More will come, I don't doubt.
None.
BH can have his uses. Now especially with the slight buff to bloodsense, he's a lot better for countering stealth heroes.
He definitely needs some kind of rework. His problem is that he is an early game ganker that needs to get kills to be viable, but doesnt scale very well otherwise. And even with those kills, his only advantage comes with the fact that he can outlvl his opponents like crazy to beat them.
None.
Okay, I need a ruling here:
I went 5-4-34 just now with Wretched Hag. I made a few mistakes that saved my ass and killed my teammates and my ults sucked, but I don't think I did particularly bad. Was I terrible, or was I just mildly good because I didn't die much in a 30-60 game? Granted, arach and scout on the other team sucked, with plague being progressively more useless and lego/accursed virtually unkillable (but unable to do much to us).
35978350 was match ID.
panda left early, getting us raxed, and pyro carried us up until magebane got his items. afaik, all I did was DOT some people to get a massive amount of assists. Lord knows I was more useful than arachna and scout. Like always, after we get raxed in a 4v5, I want to concede, but pyro doesn't, so we play it out and end up owning them.
I'm actually starting to like hag, but I don't know if I was useful in team fights. Certainly in ganking/chasing, but I just never got the kills. If I was useful, she might be my new elec/pesty, since ranged heroes are infinitely better than melee, and much more useful early game.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
MQ is not viable, I saw her once by a DotA team because I guess she's decent in DotA and they got stomped. She has shit for range and FA can do everything better than her except squish newbs that run around by themselves in the middle of nowhere.
BH is useless because he has 2 spells to cast and they both suck. The only reason he's remotely good is because he solos well, and any decent team just puts a dual lane mid and he is trash.
Rampage is just too luck dependent, he's really not a terrible hero other than that.
Luna just got changed in DotA, Bloodseeker got changed last patch, and everyone has been asking for Spiritbreaker/Rampage changes forever.
None.
I'm not watching an 80 minute game. But if you didn't gank as hag and your ults sucked, chances are you didn't do your job very well
80 minute games should not happen unless both teams are running hardcore turtle strategies.
Hag is one of the heroes I've been practicing a lot lately, she's a super good solo mid versus most and tower dives better than pretty much anyone. Big fan. =o
