you're all a bunch of ragers who get far too upset
None of the people I play with are like that (anymore). Having ppl to play with is no argument when you're idling the channel. If you don't like us then that's another matter.
With that attitude I too am glad that you're not playing with us.

Simple question: Why is Brutalizer a bad item? Are there heroes it's not bad on (and why)?

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

It's not a bad item at all. If the game lasts long enough, it's a REQUIRED item on Magebane. A few other heroes can use it as well, it's just that for most heroes there are better items they can get.
None.
Brutalisers the bash modifier right?
Mage Bane has the fastest melee attack in the game if I remember correctly.
Just had a pretty lulsy game. I was Demented Shaman. Had Shieldbreaker and Daemonic Breastplate at like 30 minutes. My team was lyk 'lol carry ds'. and I was lyk 'fffuuu' q-q-q-quad kill.
None.
Brutalizer is terrible because it's random. Simple as that, you can't rely on it to proc to interrupt a channeling and so you're almost always better off building an Icebrand which gives more health and a reliable slow- and which builds into something. Brutalizer is a terminal item and not even remotely good DPS or survivability for its price. The only bonus is that it's not an attack modifier, but nor are Riftshards or Savage Mace and they do way more damage.
Very very few heroes I could see get it as a late item and not be upset: mainly Scout, Magebane, and Madman- and that's after a Runed Axe, BKB, and Lifesteal on each of them. Definitely not at all on any ranged heroes.
None.
Because if they are stunned they can't do anything.
Also, in public game mentality, the alpha males tend to initiate an encounter by stunning an opponent. The other males in the pack pounce viciously onto the incapacitated target usually resulting in a kill. Permastun is the most imba thing ever, and its sort of a shame that HoN has sort of removed it. Although Rampage is just as bad
None.
2 second cooldown I believe on all % to hit stuns.
None.
Yup, all bash effects have a shared cooldown. Someone said something about it not stacking with Chronos' ability. Not sure about not stacking, but its definitely a diminished return. Also, don't think Rampages 'Charged Strike' counts as a bash, think it's just knock back.
None.
That's still pretty horrible, even if it is 1337.
I really don't get how people play to get such low MMR.
EDIT:
In other news, I got myself 5 HoN-related signatures now. 3 for Sand Wraith, 1 for Parasite, and 1 for Tundra.
EDIT2:
Tell us when you get to 1666.

Rumour has it that HoN's normal mode will be starting with a courier.
Gonna move to DotA 2, probably won't look back.

Oh wow they're softening it up more and more for the noobs? That's disappointing. Every company only caters for the "casual gamer" which annoys me for quite some time now. But I thought HoN as a competitive game would be safe from this trend... Oh well... money rules.

Is it true that bh is considered a better mid hero than cd? If so, please take a look at 57163765 and tell me why I lost mid so hard.
From what I can tell I missed 2-3 critical last hits that may have enabled me to escape but the real problem was that he kited me just perfectly and very aggressively. How to play in such a situation?
What other mistakes can you determine?
On paper Rhapsody seems OP. I'm finding however that she's pretty situation and like most supports, needs a team that knows what her skills do so she may properly support them.

You should absolutely destroy him with Conduit. BH beats a lot of ranged heroes, but CD isn't one of them.
EDIT: Oh, you were BH. The matchup isn't great for you, but it's winnable. You lost the lane before he even had a chance to use Conduit because you don't control the creep engagement at all. As a melee hero you need to get within 600 range of the enemy and target him. This will cause the nearby creeps to focus you, allowing you to pull them near to the tower and to be last hit easily. It also puts them on your side of the clash, making them more accessible. Your last hitting could also use some serious work, you should really just be able to sit in the lane and go 8/8 if he tries to harass you.

Thank you for taking the time to analyze it. Much appreciated.
aight, gotta train last hits. Made a few test games where I played alone and just tried to get as many last hits as possible for 10 waves (~level 5). I averaged 25/24. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get anywhere near 40/40. Sometimes 2 creeps get low at the same time so I can't get them both, towers kill them or catapults throw off my timing. You're sure it's realistic to get them all, especially with a hero on your ass with which you're constantly fighting for position?
So my instinct of fighting him was wrong? Just ignore him and get all the last hits? Is that enough healing? Figures because when he started kiting it didn't go too well.
Thx for the tip with creep control. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
What I hate about last hitting is how dependent on each hero it is. It's largely impossible to deny creeps against Rampage or Deadwood since they do so much damage anyway. Whereas Emerald Warden does pathetic <50 damage at the beginning of the game, which I find hard to last-hit with (but manageable).
Nude, do you use the Hatchet of Logging, or whatever its called... the +33% (or +20%) damage to non-player units item? I played blood hunter once, and while I failed at ganking (Team-mates took the last hits and I died due to not healing). Your healing ability is insanely powerful if you have 3 Runes, Buckler and Axe - most melee heroes in this situation are quite immune to early-game harass, you just have to be careful not to get harassed into low-hitpoints and then nuked the death.
Anyway, keep the axe on Alt+W and use that when 2 creeps get low hp and you can only attack-lasthit one of them.

Oh right... you can throw it too now. I keep forgetting that. Anways, play cardi?
You just need to notice ahead of time that two creeps are taking equal damage and adjust that by attacking one a couple of times. With the tower, it's more a math thing. Two tower hits plus two autoattacks is a kill on a ranged creep, 4-5 (forget) tower hits and two autoattacks is a kill on melee creeps. Obviously adjust for incoming damage from your friendly creeps.
