Yes, I know it is possible to overlap text in
unit names with Draft, yes I've read the tutorial/wiki thing on it, but I still can't get it. So, I've downloaded Xtra Editor because I've heard that it is easy to overlap text in it because it is built into the system. However, I still can't get it to work!! I swear I've tried ever possible combination with front and back etc., but I still can't get it to work...
So, can anyone help me in how to do it? Say, how to simply overlap the simple name "Marine" in red text?
Thanks all.

Falkoner has a tool that is supposed to do it, but it's never worked perfectly for me.
You put the left align on the right half, and the center align on the left half, then the text color, and after the last character, put the invisible.
Then, just test it until you get a combo that works...remember, all text after the second marine's E is invisible...so put periods for smaller movements to the left, and W's or something for bigger movements to the left.
I would do it for you, but I don't have starcraft access at this time.
Here's the one on my site, I've had many people thank me for it, so I think it works well, although you may need to change a letter or two.

Now, this is for Draft right?

I dunno if xtra will do the <#> for ASCII characters, so you might have to use Falk's program and draft.
Maybe if you save in xtra, then open in draft it'll still work. I've never tried, because I only use draft.
The way MorphLing's works is for SCMDraft. If you can't get the text to fit in the limited space that SCMDraft provides, then use the string editor to edit them from there.
So, for falkoners, because it's the same thing as morphlings I think (the text for morphlings wont stay up long enough for me to copy and paste) what if I want to add color. Can I just add it or do I have to delete some W's and .'s or what?
And for editing the strings, do I just scroll down to the units name, click on the string, and then edit it?
Actually, i tested it out and it works, I'm all good guys thanks!

You shouldn't have to remove anything, yes, you find the unit name and then replace the "String Text" or whatever, and you're welcome.

I was also wondering about this too. There's only so much space in the unit name box, that I can only fit the <13>'s, the name, and the W's. I tried going into the string editor and editing the unit name there, it reverted back to the overlap name but without the colors...

Is there a way to make the text appear longer. As soon as I hit Generate Code, the text disapears and I don't even have enough time to copy it.
None.
just stop the page
type in whatever you need, hover mouse over the stop page button, press enter and click at same time

You have to use internet explorer. If you're using Firefox, it'll disappear immediately. Pretty lame.

Ah... This is why i hate firefox, someone should fix that...
Or you can use the non-glitchy one
Technically, yours could be considered the more glitchy one, because it keeps giving me codes that wont even overlap!

What are you specifically trying to overlap?
None.
The reason I didn't link you to the program on Falkoners page is because it does sometimes mess up overlapping text. The one I linked to you hasn't failed my yet.

Spider Mine, High Templar, Dark Templar, Dark Archon, Game Setup: (with the : ) Those are the ones that I remember that aren't working for me.

Except that the text disappears too fast for me to see it
. I've tried using the stop loading page method but when I press Stop, it makes the text go away too

I'm assuming those are all unit names and not display text.
