I've been jumping around on the internet, google, but I've been trouble locking on some good info/solutions.
My computer is fine, for the most part. For some reason, within the last 3 days or so, my visuals started slowing down. Even things like Minimizing a window on IE seem to be giving my computer a heart attack.
I've recently air-cleaned my fans and vents, and I'm not an idiot, so I don't go randomly downloading shit on the internet.
I don't remember installing anything within the past week or so, and here are my system specs:

The things that run perfectly fine are StarCraft, SCMDraft, and Ares, but other than that, it seems like my computer has just recently picked up smoking ciggarettes or something.
None.
This happened to me before.. I think I ended up formatting and everything worked fine. You should however try restarting first (if you haven't). Also scan your comp and check your processes for memory suckers.

Don't use IE.
Red classic.
"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."
I've had FF.
I figured it out, though. Thanks anyways.
There was this file in Ares, and it some how bogged down everything. It was a compounded music file.

Ares = You're going to get viruses. User torrents or Usenet.
