UMS Assistance FAQ Topic:

This information is intended to reduce the number of easily answerable questions posted in the
Use Map Settings Mapmaking Assistance topic. It contains a variety of miscellaneous information
about a multitude of mapmaking topics for easy reference.
(Personally I think the wiki is easy reference, but apparently some people don't know about them.)

If you think you have a good idea to submit to this thread, PM an UMS Assistance mod or GM.

If you believe any of the information in this reference material is false, PM UMS Mapping Assistance moderation.
(I'm human, I could make some errors.)

SC:R still ships with all the old MPQs

extract the scripts using pympq and open them in pyai (using the python modding suite) and use nekron's guide as a reference
