Ah... that's better
Tell me how you figured out the Howl please ;P
Switch triggers.
You have a location that is always centered around the Barbarian.
When he has the ability and he uses it, turn the Switch on.
When the switch is on, you could "Move all player X to location X"
Create a wait trigger for the amount of time you want them to be "scared", then have the AI kick back in...
The only problem I saw when I thought of it, is getting them to run after using howl.
You could setup numerous triggers around the areas that there would be monsters and when you Howl, send them to each of them.. Wait, no. That wouldn't work out, lol.
This could work:
After they run away, and your wait trigger is finished, you could have them attack at the Barbarian location.. The only drawback with that is that they all would attack only the barbarian...
That's where you come in, and figure out my idea for your system
Sword Mastery - Level 1
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding a sword.
Axe Mastery - Level 1
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding an axe.
Mace Mastery - Level 1
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding a mace.
Polearms Mastery - Level 5
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding a polearm.
Spear Mastery - Level 5
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding a spear.
Throwing Mastery - Level 5
Increases damage and chance to hit wielding a throwing weapon.
You'll have to implement a complex weapon system if you want to detect what weapon is being used and all.Increased Stamina - Level 10
Increases stamina to allow you to run longer.
Well, not that complicated if you add burrowes units to slowdown movement.Impale - Level 12
Inflicts major damage by impaling her foes.
Plague Javelin - Level 18
Creates a cloud of poison that drifts slowly poisoning foes along its path.
Impale : Find a quick to detect enemies that were attacked in a direction, and it should work. But I don't think that's that easy.
Plague Javelin : You can't, except if you use a lot of computer slots to make enemies life level.Fend - Level 24
Knocks back the enemy so that the Amazon strike quickly and/or defend against several attackers.
You must have a really huge grid system, especially if your amazon uses ranged attack.
For all other spells that you must target a unit, how are you gonnae do this ?
And for detecting wich unit has been damaged, you'll use vHP ?
Well. I just looked at active skills for the amazone and a few skill for the barbarian. If you have issues, go ahead and do these skills.
ps. This fucking color don't want to work unless on the last paragraph...
ps2. Nevermind, it was only in the preview.Plague Javelin wouldn't be complicated... Except the continuous damage.
You'd just have to make a trigger that would take a certain percentage away from their life every second after a Switch has been turned on.
Create a bunch of wait triggers and take the % down like from 100%, to 98%, to 96%, and so on and so forth.
You could even have it timed, too.
The player casts plague javelin, it turns two (maybe possibly even three) switches on. One to time the whole spell, one to create the damage, and one to check and see if the spell has been cast and if so, turn off the other two switches.
The switch that times the whole spell would be simple. Do the trigger that casts Plague Javelin (which turns on Switch 1) then:
Switch 2 is on (set or whatever the editor says)
Wait *insert total amount of time your "Poison Damage"*
Switch 2 is off
That works if you can turn off Switches within the same switch.
If not, that's where Switch 1 would come in
Switch 1 is on
Wait *insert total amount of time for your "Poison Damage"*
Switch 2 is off
Switch 3 is off
Switch 3 would be Plague Javelin imo...
That's how I'd do it... Pretty big hassle to do it, but it'd be fun
Fend wouldn't really require a grid system I'd say... Just have two locations centered around the Amazon.
One a certain size, the other one bigger than the other one.
Then use a Switch or three.
Condition
Player 1 brings any unit to "Fend"
Action
Switch 1 is set
Condition
Switch 1 is set
Action
Move all any unit at "amazon" to "amazonfend"
wait 1 second
Switch 1 is off
Huge grid system? Nah.
It isn't the fact of buying Diablo 2, it is the fact of playing Diablo 2 on Starcraft, lol.
But remakes of games such as Diablo 2 on StarCraft take all the fun out of the gameplay. You know what, I really don't like you insulting Heimdal like that, so fuck off. If it wasn't for him, you probibly wouldn't have some of the shit you have on your Halo 3 game, asshole.
What exactly did Heimdal do on Halo 3??I don't remember if he told me, but I remember him mentioning something about the rag-doll physics or something *shrugs* that was like six months ago when I talked to him about that.
None.
