heres some mods i made in the past when my old website was up enjoy ;D

Breif Discriptions:
Stackable Hydra: hydras stack automatically.
Problems: i set them as air units so they have all the characteristics of an air unit and vs corsairs they get owned.



Loadable Building: all liftable terran buildings can be loaded into a dropship overlord or shuttle - extra: dropships can be loaded into each other (forgot if i did that to overlords and shuttles too)
Problems: will crash if you load while building one then unloading it *sprite will show if its gonig to crash*

Psi-Creep Disabler: zerg dont require creep to build and protoss dont require psi, to balance terran were given shields - extra: all buildings can be treated as a resorce container
Problems: major rushing.

Unlimited supplys: quick supply mod i made that brings down the supply costs of all units to zero and upgrades supply depots overlords and pylons supply amount.
Problems: not exactly perfect numbers.

Stacking Buildings: makes sunken colonys, creep colonys, spore colonys, cannons, bunkers, turrents, gateways, barrackes, and lairs stackable.
Problems: Zerg stacking wont generate creep but they dont require creep either (IE the lair). when creating the building the selection sqare to place it is a little messed up. (youl notice it slightly if u use the mod)

extended to the point information in the mods readme's if you dont entirly get it.

Is there any particular reason why you have decided to post these mods? These mods are only DAT edits... and REALLY simple ones at best. In my opinion, you had nothing better to do.

You should try furthering your modding skills. Then, we shall have a new modding convert... MUHAHAHAHAHAHA.

but he's just jealous that he doesn't have a nice hydralisk picture like your even tho his name is close to hydralisk :lol:

@thunderaga: Just so you don't bother me about such a dumb topic, allow me to say that I could have a Hydralisk picture if I wanted. The reasons why I don't are: I'm not obsessed with Hydralisks, Hydrolisk no longer has anything to do with Hydralisk, I'd like to make my own avatar, and I don't care. BTW: I think the new SC2 Hydralisks look like sleezy old men and I wish whoever designed the face of it dies in a terrible shooting "accident".

@MANight: YOU MUST CONVERT TO MODDING. NOW.
On a more serious note, I would be interested in seeing what you can do.

Get poiuy_qwert's PyMS and DiscipleOfAdun's Firegraft. PyMS has a thread in Modding Discussion. Idk where you can get FG, google it. You already have WinMPQ. I don't remember if PyMS has a GRP converter, if so, get ShadowFlare's converter.

There's a modding tutorial that teaches all you need to know. Look for "How to write a StarCraft Mod III" in Modding Assistance. It wasn't written for PyMS, but you should be able to use it anyway.

The only thing the tutorial won't teach you is how to come up with a good mod idea. You'll have to figure that part out yourself. :P Well, that and plugins, which you probably won't need for a long time, if ever.

I say, if you want to expand your modification skills, that you get a converter, Ice or IceCC.

Converter: A modification tool used to mix/edit units of StarCraft.

Ice is a piece of shit, steer clear from it at all costs. IceCC is your only option (unless PyMS has an iscript editor now, I can't remember)



Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

kidblaze doens't know what he's talking about. Converter = GRP converter = program that converts StarCraft's graphics to BMPs and back.

Also, I reccomend PyMS's iscript editor, especially because poiuy is adding (or has he already added it? idk) a search function to PyICE.

I like the mods... but I also think it were simple edits and doesn't need to be posted... but you should make mod :]

I agree, but I cannot PyMS... PyMS is a good tool... but it got tons of errors (at least at me) mostly when you try to save something :-(
So I have to use datedit, firegraft, IceCC and RetroGRP (and some other tools).

yea they wer just simple modifications, i tended to stick to simplicity since it was only a week or so that i was using any kind of modding tool
personally im just not a graphics person. i prefer to mess with aspects other then visual...
most iv done with visual graphics was making a holiday mod that made the color of protoss change to unused colors... i think i have a screen shot let me see......



that was back in november or so.

Edit: also added screen of hydras up there.

Looks like you just changed palettes or screwed up the frames for the GRP files.

Start modding again, so that we may absorb you and include you in the fold... the MODDING CEREBRATE-OVERMIND CONGLOMERATE.
