I know many of you might have several, but what is the size of the one you use for everything?
What do you generally store on it?
I only have it up to 32GB, assuming most of you
can't afford 32GB'sI have a 16GB, 4GB, two 2GB, and a couple single GB's here and there. The price for the 16GB was 31$, but I received a 20$ rebate on it, so it really only cost me 11$. Unaware of great USB deals on the internet, I bought my first 2GB at Wal-Mart for 20$ a few years ago, which was a complete rip off. NEVER buy USB drives from chain stores, they are always overpriced.
I store everything on my 16GB, but since it has a great deal of space, its primary use is to hold games or software. I carry the 2500$ Adobe CS4 Master's Collection on it just in case I ever encounter someone I'm working with that says "I would create a logo for our project, but I can't afford Photoshop!", well guess what, BAM, copy over the CS4 directory, bitch. Yeah, larger ones come in handy sometime. Besides the chunky files, I carry your usual papers and lab write-ups that I know I'll never use again in my life but I still refuse to delete them (I even have crap from last semester, but I'm too stubborn to erase them). I also have a bunch of random .swf's just for those emergencies when you come in contact with a computer or laptop with no internet or games. You can always pretend you're on the internet by playing a bunch of flash games, eh?
So tell me..how big, and how do you use it?
None.
I carry around a 2GB for music transfers or small applications.
None.
1GB, for school and emulation. It's sadly small.
None.
2x4GB and 256MB.
latter is obsolete, but was basically what I have now in a more conservative manner. Former has... 3D stuff, programming stuff, pixel art for when I'm bored, any writing papers I need to work on, some music, and random stuff.
I used to have a 32GB, but the fuckering thing got broken for no apparent reason ...
None.

Old 2gb Lexar
Currently contains M.U.G.E.N., StepMania, NES emulator, SNES emulator, around 15 portable apps, and a copy of every installer I've used in case I reformat.
None.
I got a free 2 GB one, it's really small. I use it for my AUTOCAD class to save my drawings and transfer it.
None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
2GB Sandisk Cruzer. I just use it for carrying stuff around, like projects for school and stuff like that.
None.
Nonexistent.
Occasionally i find one that belongs to me, but i hardly ever use it.
I keep my school files in a 1 GB one-time-payment ftp account that i got a few years ago
None.
I have a 16 GB one. It died.
None.
8 GB Micro Cruzer.
Has a variety of things on it, including a bunch installers, a bunch of games that have emulaters, and a few other things that could get me in trouble (at school ^.^) Also, some homemade virus's using AutoIt 3.
[My friend has a 64 gb flash drive too ;P.]
None.
ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO
I HAVE A 16MB DELL USB, YEs, MB, WHAT NOW.
Uh, I have a 2GB one besides the 16mb one fo carry videos, models, and more stuff. I use it for uni/work. I need a bigger one, though, since I recently encountered that my portfolio is composed of images that are around 50-100mb. 300dpi
fuck you all
I have two 1 GB, and two 512MB. One 1 GB is used for mods, the other is used for school and small programs. The 512 MB I don't use at all. O, and I have a porable .5 Terabyte harddrive, which I use for everything.
I don't get why someone would but a $160 thumbdrive when you can buy a terabyte for the same price.

It's not in flash drive form, but it is portable. The one I have needs an electric outlet, but I believe there is a version of a terabyte external hardrive that is the size of a book and needs two usb ports, but does not need an outlet.
