Basically, there aren't that many known glitches with the system in single player, and very few in two player. I'm providing a bit of a window in to what I'm working on, and in return I hope I can get feedback/bug reports/ideas out of it. If you DL this, you're free to look at and reproduce any of the terrain left behind the giant DEMO letters that I put there to make sure you know it's unfinished.
Each player starts with a Katana, which is usually too good for them, but balancing comes later, and what weapon you're holding depends entirely on a single death counter. if you want to open up the trigs, go right ahead, it aint protected, and I'm sue that nobody would ever have the time to look through it all and finish the map to jack it anyways.

Odd... when I test it it sets it to 100 hp. How many players were ingame?

Odd... there are no preserve triggers in any of the storyline elements. I've done testing on that and I can't reproduce the problem. Did you try this in single player or multiplayer with one person in the room? It is meant to be played exclusively on multiplayer mode.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that I didn't make this map for your average bnet players with 20-second attention spans.

Sorry if I came out like that, but the topic was made to ask for feedback/input and ideas on how to improve, and now that you've pointed that out I have a better idea of what you were talking about. By the way, i don't know what server you're on, but 20 seconds seems a fair estimate for your average UMS player's ability to read or stay interested in something that doesnt have big explosions or battlecruisers.

cob wth this is just a demo not a finished map... Honestly i doubt he wants your opinion anymore cause you are completely missing the point... Demo meaning he isn't finished yet... oh well i guess there is always that one person that misses the purpose behind it all.
I liked the combat setup but I really don't understand how all of the health and junk works..(is bottom left the p1 hero display?)

Honestly, someone being a critic is actually a good way to get input. I've started doing a bit on making the text a bit more professional-looking, and I really don't see where he's coming from on the unprofessional triggers thing, they work fine 99% of the time, and I still haven't found a bug that sets you to 200 hp.
The number displayed at the bottom of the map is your health, and I'm probably going to explain that in the briefing. The reason I put this out there is so that I can see what people think of it, no matter how negative their opinion is.

I'm not bitching his map, I'm just trying to help him while being honest.
Your map will be good, I don't doubt about it. Just tell me when unit's name are no longer in capital and I'll play it again. I think Jello was getting on "my side" because my first reply looked like I took offense or something, but I was kinda sayin that if you aren't gonna tell me exactly what's wrong then dont bother. Anyways, the unit names are now both not in capitals and color coded (Player, Important NPC, unimportant NPC) and the beginning is going to involve a little story where the main character gets wasted the night before and shows up for training with a hangover, just to make it a bit more comic/interesting. I'll post the map file again when I've gotten a little bit further.
