In about an hour, Battlestar Galactica starts again. Who else watches? Anyone else pumped for the coming episode?
Personally, I'm stoked. I don't usually get too excited about TV series, but this one's got me absolutely hooked. Normally I'd record it, but I can't risk not having time to watch it tomorrow
Never watched it, but from what I've heard, the show took the story from the books, horribly maimed it, and then shat on its dessicated husk.
Ergo, I'm not very likely to see it.
None.
For a second when I saw this thread's title, I thought it stood for "Back Street Girls"
For some reason, a lot of the stuff on Sci-fi turn me off. Especially the sci-fi original movies; the story line and dialogues are cheezy as fuck and
usually aren't good.
None.
But they need ways to not fantasize (Star Wars, etc) nor keep too much connection to modern day (Star Trek's technology).
I appreciate sci-fi, but exaggerating the year and plot (Year 2552, Humans with 20th century technology and "Spartans" on Africa - Halo series), then follows what I listed, it sucks.

You should give BSG a shot. The storyline is compelling and it doesn't rely on its sci-fi setting as a crutch. It's more like a drama set in space than traditional sci-fi.
