Ive had this map for awhile tho and thought of making it for
SEN
Survive The Zombies

Characters
You (civillian)
Gun (ghost)
Not much but i was planning on making another
StZ for more guns and maybe a car with a chainsaw attached to it
Like your in the a car and you have to shoot zombies while somones driving
Zombies will be run over and theres a square at top and when some
zombies pass by they be create outside that square, so thats how you shoot

Items
Rifle (to get ghost)
Ammunition
Health pack
Anti-Virus (unique virus gauge)
C4 Explosive

Monsters
Zombie - Zerling - another regular zombie
Zombie - Zealot - a regular zombie
Acid Zombie - Hydralisk - a zombie that evolved and spits acid
Zombie Elephant - Ultralisk - A big type of zombie that can take a lot of damage
Claw Zombie - Kerrigan - A zombie that grew claws and hurts
Dirty Zombie - Duran - A zombie that roll around in mud
Z Mutant - (H)Hydra - The end boss
Y Mutant - (H)Zergling - The end boss

Systems
A + Click Shoot System
A system that just requires A + Click to shoot a zombie so you cant just sit there
Inventory System
A system that can hold items for you. So when you need it you can use it
to heal, antivirus, get ammo, etc.
High System
Ive put some high spots in the map so you can see more and shoot zombies from
high spots instead of regular low spots. But becareful, those spots can get you
trapped from zombies that enter
Reload System
Build a shuttle to reload. It's located below your inventory so hot key

Glitches
There are some glitches that i will fix in a different version
Anti-Virus system
The problem is. When the zombies hit you or touch you
, your suppose to recieve - # to virus gauge. But when
they touch you, you recieve 4 messages saying a zombie hit you (- #)
and a zombie didnt hit you, etc. I will remove that later and not even
worry about it
C4 Annoyance
When you lay down a C4, a message tells you to run. All the zombies
run to it, but you have to run. That annoys some ppl cuz they sit
there and explode and die..
Dying System
When you die. You turn into a zombie and w/e
When the antivirus goes it dosent do that. So
I will fix that later

Terrain sucks. I can clearly say, it sucks. And the main reason is, its not even isometrical.
Generic, boring names. (It's always Survivor [Weapon]). Or Citizen [Weapon]. I've seen retarded things like Guy [Weapon] and You [Weapon]. Rifle? There are THOUSANDS of rifles out there. It could be anything from a grenade mounted carbine to a sniper.
I noticed that the "Reloading" text was off center.
Why is there a maximum in clips you can hold? I beleive I have many pockets.
Why is the ghost dying and respawning infinitely?

The only real thing I found that wasn't "bad" was the inventory system, and even that is quite easy to make.

This was one of my first maps
guy dying infitnatly because thats special effects of him turning into zombie
3 ammo for a certain trigger
this is only the first one
and you seem mad O.o
the terrain has to be isosemtrical?
The high spots are a little addition to isosemetrical piece. just forming a higher spot
I purposely made reloaded off center

You realize that he only used 2 question marks right? And that only one of them followed a legitimate question?

I played the game for a bit and agree that the terrain is ugly as hell. It's mainly that [almost] everything looks so bland and generic as though you put it together in less than 3 minutes. As for the gameplay, there was nothing interesting about it. You say it's one of your first maps, so why did you think it was necessary to showcase a map that you knew had faults? I say take it back to production and put more work into it.

also i was making it a short map until i accidently got it 15 minutes
and my terrain imo is also ugly but cool in my own way xD

No, Simeon is smart and knows what he's talking about. Viet is livid because the unit names do not detail the exact kind of firearm they have. He's also mad that he has do deal with a Max amount of ammo (He's never played an FPS). Simeon, no. Paula w/o her happy drugs, yes.

And hino, telling someone that their first map is so bad that it doesn't deserve to be posted here, should be grounds for suspension.

Didn't say that. He responded to Vi3t's criticisms by saying that it was one of his first maps. Saying that is implying that he knew it was bad, but posted it anyway. If he, at least, gave his own map respect by saying that he was proud of his work and that he was going to take the criticism and make sure to do better next time, I wouldn't have said what I said.

Is his map so bad that he shouldn't post it? No, of course not as the only map that horrible is a blank one. I apologize for the miscommunication, but what I was trying to say stands: if Black knew it was bad before posting it, he shouldn't have.

My review of your map is the following:
Upon starting the game i found myself puzzled on where it is you could get a gun. I had no issue finding ammo and anti-virus' however, i was led to believe that i would find a gun within the small area by where i started. Before i could find a gun i found myself surrounded by zombies and dead.

Deciding not to be a complete ass, i gave the map a second chance and still had no luck finding a gun before the zombies came and ate me. If you are going to make a simple thing such as finding a gun so hard, at least give me a zealot named CIVILIAN WITH KNIFE. You seem to have an endless supply of things that are useless if you cant even defend yourself.

If i can't even find a gun, being a huge zombie gamer, what makes you think half the other people that play this game will. If you can't find something so simple by try #2 i don't believe anyone will give this map a chance.

So in a nutshell the map had potential to atleast be fun to play publicly; however, such a basic flaw ruined the entire game play.

THINGS I LIKED:
the inventory system.
the concept of infection.

THINGS I DISLIKED:
the lack of guidance sums it up.
poor usage of terrain.
No time to search the area for weapons, prior to getting attacked.

Zero stars out of five.

... On the other hand I found a gun within 10 seconds of playing and enjoyed the game each time I played. However, I found myself playing for 37 minutes the last time I played for some reason and there was no "Victory" condition. You might want to look into that :P.

However, I liked the inventory system and the simple attack system. It made it difficult at times but that's why it was fun. A lot of zombie games are too easy to win, and this made it more challenging. Everyone that played this at least came back for a second or third time and all of them were excited when I told them I'd be working on something similar to this map. With a few modifications, this could be a crowd favorite.

In Conclusion:
Systems: 5/5 - It was a learning experience for you, and the systems fit the game very well. Not sure how people can't find guns that're within 10 seconds of the spawn area...
Gameplay: 3/5 - Run around, find items, shoot stuff. It's all about survival ;).
Sounds: 4/5 - The walking can get annoying, but everything else is fine. While listening to music in the background I appreciated the extra sound effects :)
Replay Value: 3/5 - Getting slaughtered 8 minutes in kept people coming back to try to finish it. It began with people saying "This is easy... lawl" to "OMG! Lets try again!"

Overall: 4/5 - Definitely give this one a look, I'd say it's an amazing first attempt and better than 90% of the maps out there.

Thx prideful one on the other hand.
Virus the guns are always near where u start out
if you are red there is a ramp to the northeast of u.
then you go up it grab the items. go right and up sorta
and the gun is a terrain gas tank thing
I was going to continue this game until the rpg thing came up
so im making one map that has an intersection full of zombie fun
and some missions you have to do
all the buildings on the sides will be enterable. some might not but
thats matters how much space i have.
I have the same inventory system but might have more items
i have an action system. a dropship full of actions you can do
like talk, throw grenade, etc
survive the zombies is sorta challenging. especially when the
bosses come after you
im proud of my work. i was just going to make a small map. but i started
having fun making the map that i didnt want to stop. i didnt bother to mess
with terrain until i came up with high spots. but then i never mesed with
terrain again. and i think one or two of the high spots has a gun on it.
the one closest to the top has one. i havent played my map in so long that
i dont think any other high spot has a gun

I'ma have to agree. The terrain sucked.

However, I don't really care about that. I thought the game was fun and I'm pretty impressed that for one of your first maps you created the inventory, amunition, and such, all of which I would consider to be above novice systems. Great job! :)

Aight I admit it I haven't played it yet...but it looks good for a first map.

Anyway your RPG sounds sort of similiar to mine but w/o storyline...so I got competition. In fact Lost City is a little alike mine too........BUT I have better storyline.


***EDIT***
Played it and it's actually pretty fun. Once you find a gun, and work out the dropship system, it's a lot more fun.No victory trigger or anything though, I played with some clan members for like 20mins and still didn't win, then we got killed by superlings that kill you in 3 hits...ah well.

Well this is wat Intersection of the Undead is for. Its kinda like a sequel only with better terrain and better stuff and more weapons, u get the idead
