Starcraft Unit Responses

I've been going through the wavs of the unit responses for my map today. I noticed that many of the units have many notable quotes. One of them, the Firebat says "Do you have any questions about Propane" and "Or propane accessories?". These quotes are from King of the Hill, which is from 1999, if not mistaken. Starcraft was made in 1996. I was wondering if this response was made before King of the Hills? I'm pretty sure it's from an update, but anyone knows when it was?

It may have been from an older movie, which King of the Hill copied from.

No, Starcraft was released in 1996, Brood war was released 1998.

I don't quite know about King Of The Hill though, so it's not wise to ask me that! :3

As for unit responses.

Just watch Aliens.(That's the second alien movie) it seems they ripped off a bunch of quotes that the dropship has, and even the marines take ''Get me out of this chicken shit outfit.''

and lets also not forget about The Science Vessel that sounds like Mr.Burns from the Simpsons.

The person who made that and the person who wrote KotH both got it from the same place. Propane dealers talk like that which is why it was reallykinda funny because it was true. Still, that was kinda trippy echo.

You're wrong. StarCraft was released in early '98 and Brood War was released in late '98.

SDE, BWAPI owner, hacker.

I'm pretty sure there are no sound(WAV file) updates. Patch_rt.mpq contains none.

What about patching from 1.00 (Vanilla) to 1.04 (Broodwar)?

This is why teachers tell you that wikipedia isn't a primary source... because it's not reliable...
For the record... King of the Hill really isn't that great of a show... just saying :S!

Back* from the grave

Primary sources are stuff like books and the original web page. Wikipedia is basically a huge search engine that summarizes info from a bunch of sources...the primary sources are in the references section of the page, so if you want a cheap and easy way to find the primary, go on Wikipedia and look in the references...

And about the '96 thing on Wikipedia. It's entirely possible that it could have once said that, but there's also no proof of that either. We just have Hug a Zergling's word. I'm sure someone could go through the SC page's history and look it up though.
